McDonald's — Restaurant in Goldendale

I went into the drive thru and the person speaking made my brother in law late for work because she said "I'm the only one working tonight" and so I think okay that's fine but it took 20 minutes just for her to take my order and for a restaurant with a drive through you should never make the people at the drive thru wait. also when we finally got our order we pulled up and I see this lady that took our order smoking a blunt in the back and she wasn't even in the right work clothes. as I'm looking at her I realized the line was moving but if she's the only one working how would the line move and when I get to the window there IS another person working he was nice so that was the good part. but when I started eating my food I had realized my root bear was flat (gross)🤢 and I ordered 2 MC chickens and the chicken was so dry and there was only a little Mayo and only in the middle so it couldn't balance the dry chicken. I ordered fries as well and half of them were stale and they weren't salted at all. if you are thinking about going here to eat do not go here this...

Update: Slow as heck, especially when druggies are taking their sweet time at the kiosks, and no one will take your order. Just wanted an ice cream. The machine was probably broken anyway. Won't be back.

I have now been at this location in Goldendale 3 times now, and every time, the employees are obviously not happy to be there. We have visited every shift. No smiles, no joy and no "Have a great day." Felt like I was in the way while ordering. The other evening we went in for soft serve and a hot fudge Sunday. It was a rather slow night apparently and the staff couldn't have been less enthusiastic to see us. They were polite but obviously not happy. Today, my small fries were cold and greasy and the service while polite was not cheerful or really even friendly. The staff seems really quiet and unhappy. Also, the only location with a plug-in is in the front with my back to the public and I needed to do some work-related stuff while on the road. I didn't really want Joe-Public looking over...

Location very dirty. Hundreds of flies everywhere (kitchen, waiting area, dining area, bathrooms). Employees throwing trash on floor, trash cans overflowing. I went to the men’s bathroom and the automatic water faucet on the sink was out. When I asked an employee (who had just come out of the stall) about it, he said he’d grab his manager (obviously he didn’t wash his hands then and there, but I figured he’d come back and do so). He came back, did not wash his hands, and did not resolve the problem. 2 minutes later, I walked out to the front to find the manager, and find him and the manager busily sorting food behind the counter… still unsure about hand hygiene. Manager finally turned to me with an annoyed, “what do YOU want,” before telling me to use the women’s room.

McDonald’s can be hit or miss, but this was a BIGGGG miss. Should have read the reviews beforehand, which expose...
