Dunkin' — Restaurant in Good Hope

Where do I begin. This is the first time and last time I will ever go to this place. The level of disrespect I encountered is completely unacceptable. When I got up to the counter, I said I would like to order a dozen donuts. I started to tell the lady ( I think she was the manager, older dark hair lady ) what kind I would like, and she interrupted me, and said " Is that all you want? Nothing else? I'm gonna ring it up first, thats the way I like to do it." I was kinda shocked by her rudeness, but it gets worse. I said "Ok, but I have never had anyone do it like that before." What she said next was the rudest, most judgemental thing I have ever heard before from a retail employee. She then said " I want to make sure you have the money to pay for it." Excuse me? Really? I told her I would not be here if I didnt have $15 dollars for a box of donuts. She then said " I go places all the time without money". The nerve of this woman. The clothes I was wearing cost more then her weekly wages i'm sure. I guess she assumed I was poor or something. Then when we moved down to the donut counter, a second lady came over, grabbed a box and proceded to rasie the box up to cover her face, and wisper something to the first lady. Talking about customers right in their face! What the heck is this places deal? This place will never make it with leadership from people like this lady and her crew. This dunkin' donuts is located inside the pilot truck stop it is a satellite store The coffee is consistent very good The truck stop itself is very spacious plenty of fuel lines easy on easy off the highway not too much traffic The store is generally pretty clean and the showers sorry to say are the outdated ones from the old wilkos so be prepared to have very little space and not much sitting room just a chair having said that the store is usually pretty clean and the staff is generally pretty friendly. Don't know anything about the restaurant so can't comment I stopped there quite frequently whenever I go up through Alabama it is out of Birmingham and so traffic is a lot easier to get in and out of than the pilot in Birmingham so I go to this one quite frequently. As far as coffee is concerned the only problem I have with this pilot location is they do not have the beam to cup choice which is the coffee that grinds the coffee and puts it fresh into your cup which I absolutely love by the way pilot you got it right on this one those bean to cup coffees are excellent I actually search them out and notate which pilots have them and which do not having said that I do like Duncan that is my...

The staff seemed overwhelmed, unorganized, and confused with not alot of customers. I don't think they sell cake but what baked the cake was how the manager was barking out order items and making belittling faces to the customers. I assumed it was to show the customers that the staff was lacking competence which caused some customers to reciprocate comments about their proformance. I ignored the action to mitigate the opportunity for the actors to have an audience to encourage this behavior. Note to the manager, your staff is a reflection of you, Lead and teach your team members until they are proficient enough to train others and take on bigger...
