We love it here! It’s so beautiful and our area is so lucky to have it!! But…I will give my honest review. Good and bad. We’ve gone three times! And 2 out of 3 trips were amazing!!!
The third trip today…not so much. I know it’s a new business & I always give Grace. First, we love the Feldheus sandwich, and the Kickin Chicken sandwich! Today however, the steak was very chewy and the chicken just wasn’t good. I think it was an off day.
I’m not one to complain so we don’t. And, I also will absolutely go again!!
Previously - we enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the Parmesan crusted potatoes are ok. We had fried fish tacos last time (a special) and they were great!! So fresh and light.
We aren’t a fan of the hash brown casserole but, everyone’s tastes are different! Today, it came out cold and our server didn’t come back to our table outside for another 10 mins…so they stayed cold. She heated them up but we were done by the time they came back to the table.
I had an iced chai, but it had no flavor unfortunately. It was all milk. Again, I don’t like to complain! So I drank water instead. No biggy! They leave water at the table which is nice!
A prior visit w/my parents - we had desserts (took them home) and unfortunately most of them tasted like refrigeration - maybe just a few days old. My husband did love the snickerdoodle! But - we pitched the rest. But, we will try the desserts again because I think again, maybe just an off time. Because everything looks amazing!
The employees are super kind! I think the servers are trying their best but it may take time to catch on. We waited 15 mins for our bill two times. They may just be busy, but the servers are a little on the slow side checking in on you! But they are all nice!!! And that is appreciated!!!
We will go again! 100% and we will also recommend to all to go here. Next - I want to try the...
Read moreIf you're smart, you'll stay far away from this restaurant, especially for takeout. They don't care if your food is cold and unappetizing, looking like it's been cooked for hours. The owner will attack you if you leave a bad review, then try to turn it around and tell you that you're wrong. I ordered at 5:35 and picked up at 6:00, just five minutes away, but the owner claimed the food would be cold and needed reheating. The pizza I've ordered elsewhere arrives hot even after 30 minutes, but this place lacks containers or bags to keep food warm, so it's clearly been sitting for a while. My nieces, who love mac and cheese, wouldn't even eat it because it was so bad - two plates thrown away. I wish I could post a video of the owner calling me a derogatory name because she can't handle honest feedback about the poor food quality. The manager, Austin, apologized and acknowledged the issue, but then backtracked, saying they don't guarantee hot food for takeout, only for dine-in orders. The potatoes, supposedly made right before pickup, were burnt and looked awful, but the owner claimed they looked good. Do not get the Pot pie unless you want cheese that has been put in the microwave and then dumped into the pot pie. If I could give this place a -10 I would because they don’t even deserve 1 star. Update: Since the owner wants to say that my review is not true I just wanted to jump back on here and say again those pictures are Very REAL and that is the food I was served from her restaurant but as you see if she does not get five stars she talks horrible to the customers that keep her business going. Please save your time and money and go to a restaurant that is really really close to them because they actually care about the quality of their food and the customers that walk through...
Read moreWe visited here for the first time (at the recommendation of a neighbor) on Saturday, 8/10/24, for an awesome brunch. It was not at all crowded when we arrived around 9:30AM.
The dining room and restrooms were very nice “wedding reception hall” decor, but it felt more like a large dining room than a reception hall. Our server was friendly and very attentive.
I had the Hangover Harry ($14, buttermilk biscuit, two fresh eggs, five cheese blend, sausage gravy, topped with crumbled goetta & a side of our house hot sauce). I had eggs over easy rather than scrambled, and there were either two biscuits or two halves of one very large biscuit. I like hot sauce but did not pour it on my dish since it detracted from all the other great flavors. Overall this dish was great and extremely filling.
My wife had Stuffed French Toast ($9, two pieces of our french bread stuffed with vanilla bean mascarpone, served with pure maple syrup & whipped cream) and Haus Potato Casserole ($4, shredded potatoes, creamy five cheese sauce, baked in a crispy cornflake crust). The French Toast was probably the best I ever tasted (she gave me a couple bites). It was two large slices of French Toast with mascarpone in the middle and then cut in half like two halves of a sandwich. She said the potato casserole was good, but too much to eat given the generous potions of French toast.
We also ordered a Brioche Cinnamon Roll ($7) with mascarpone icing to go. It was served warm and was good heated up briefly at home, but a bit too light on cinnamon.
Our total bill before tip with two soft drinks ($3 each) came to $40 plus $2.70 tax - and it was well worth it.
We’ll definitely be back for...
