Ok so... Before I go into this review, I have to say that I have never had an issue with the staff here.. In fact I think they are very good. Now.. I have eaten here at least half a dozen times or more since they re-opened as Chatty's. First time I was a little sticker shocked by the food prices, but the food was actually very good so I attributed pricing to high quality -even though the portions were pretty small for the price. Overall I really like this place a lot and I hate to give a negative review to a place I like but...I feel I must let others know a few issues I have with this place. Went there again tonight and ordered the "Lake Erie perch" dinner. First, It was not Lake Erie perch...100% not Lake Erie perch. The fillets were giant and much too large to be Lake Erie perch. Worse, the fish was spoiled. I have never sent a meal back in my life, but tonight was my first time. It was bad. I have been fishing and eating Lake Erie perch all my life and this was definitely not that. As I said, not only was it not what it claimed to be, but it was spoiled. You simply cannot fake lake Erie perch or walleye to people in NE Ohio, they know. Additionally, the couple sitting right next to us ordered the same meal and also agreed that it was definitely not lake Erie perch, and they also sent theirs back bc it was spoiled. Overall the food here has been above average in my experience, and I have never had a bad meal other than tonight (just to keep things in perspective). Another issue I have is that every time I go in the menu is slightly different (which is fine), but the prices keep getting higher and higher to the point that I almost don't want to go back any more. I'm sorry, but the food served here is quite good, but it DEFINITELY does not warrant prices approaching higher end restaurants. It's just puzzling and bizarre to charge prices this high at a restaurant/bar. I will try to go back to give them another shot, but if the prices stay as high as giraffe ass then I will go to one of the many other places near by that have food that is as good or close, with better portions and WAY more reasonable prices. I sincerely hope to be able to update this review more favorably in the near future!

Original review: First time here since they opened. Place looks great... beautiful hand painted art work on all the walls rare and beautiful mounts (deer, boar etc) everywhere, great beer selection and menu looks great. Staff served us immediately and politely at the bar. We did not order food this time, but will update when we do. Definitely recommend giving them a try. Pretty busy for...

My family tried Chatty’s a few weeks after they opened and were very excited based on their reputation. The food was very good, but the amount of flies completely ruined our experience.

We were sat in the fly corner, apparently, where there’s a giant garage door that the staff won’t open under any circumstances. The tables are all so closely packed together in this section that the guy behind me was constantly bumping into me. If they sit you here, ask to be moved IMMEDIATELY. I’m not exaggerating when I say there were dozens of flies buzzing around and multiple smashed on the windows and tables. It was truly disgusting and repulsive. I asked us to be moved multiple times but the staff wouldn’t move us because the restaurant was at capacity. Our family frequented Jailhouse Tavern (the bar that used to be in the same building) and the flies were NEVER remotely this bad.

This was honestly a disgusting experience and I didn’t even want to eat my food by the time we got it. It’s unfortunate, because the food and drinks are legitimately good (we ordered the sweet meat pizza, Ben-Jamin burger, the walleye tacos and drank Moscow mules). We were all so angry and disgusted by the experience that we won’t ever go back unless we can sit outside.

Incredibly...

This place has gone through several owners and names over the years. It has grown from a local "biker" bar to a great destination location restaurant/bar that serves really good scratch food. I have been here several times from the biker bar days to now, and it's great to see its evolution. The new owners gave elevated it to its highest level, combining some fantastic food with friendly staff and hosting live entertainment. Tonight, we had the chicken paprikash that came with a nice accompanying salad and toasted garlic bread. It all was excellent! Not bland, not over seasoned, and you could tell it was freshly made like Grandma used to make. It's hard to find any negativity or downsides to this place. If I have to say anything negative, I would have to say that it was disappointing that approximately 6pm, the $2 beer specials for that day were out, but there were plenty of the $6 ones available! Also, there was very little chicken in the chicken paprikash. Therefore, todays food rating gets 4 stars. Only because there's no such thing as a 4 & 3/4 star rating. But like I said, I have been here many times, and it has always been great! Give it a try, and you...

I've driven past this place several times and thought it looked good. I drove up an hour each way to finally try it out and was not disappointed. They were really busy so there was a wait but it wasn't too unpleasant. Once seated, the service was fast and efficient. Food was amazing. I had the Ben-Jammin burger which was one of the better burgers I've ever had, top ten for sure. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and she seemed to enjoy it. The house chips are awesome, probably the best "potato" chip served by a restaurant I've ever had - they were well seasoned and crispy and still warm when served. Really nice outdoor seating area as well. Concrete motorcycle specific parking lot, too. I'm not a bar guy or a sports fan but the bar looked pretty inviting if you are one of those people. Will definitely be back.

Stopped here for dinner with friends on a Friday night. The place was moderately full so we were able to get a table immediately. The place is kind of a sports bar with a bit of a woodsy / country motif. We got our drinks quickly. They have about 10 beers on tap, so a good variety to satisfy most tastes. I ordered the walleye tacos. My wife had the same but got hers fried crispy. Mine also came with guacamole. Order took about 15 minutes. The fish tacos were good and tasty. Our server was friendly and efficient. The house chips are also pretty good. They have a salty BBQ seasoning and are very crispy. I tried another draft beer before leaving. This was a pleasant dining experience.
