Gobbler's Roost — Restaurant in Grafton

Stopped in before a wedding & to catch a bit of the Iowa Cyclone game.

The place was clean & well lit.

The staff was friendly & funny. As well as knowledgeable about liquors behind the bar.

The cheese curds were extremely tasty & the ranch dressing (which I believe was homemade) was yummy as well.

Tad bit expensive but for the price you do receive a lot. Which made it worth the cost.

Personal preference- I don't enjoy seeing my bartenders drinking...

The food was excellent and imaginative. I got the patty melt and fries... the patty melt came on Texas toast which they had toasted on a griddle before encrusting it in an extra layer of toasted cheese. My son got the mac daddy and waffle fries. His sandwich was pulled pork with mac and cheese inside. He ate it with a fork but probably needed a forklift. We were there a few weeks ago and the owner came to our table and laid.xown $40.... he had.a contest going on..plus my husband got his meal paid for also...such a shock..because we are.NEVER lucky in anything..quite the opposite..the food was excellent and a very nice place..we visited from nebraska..we grew up in Plymouth and manly area...thanks again..Bob and...
