There was only one review of Headquarters Tavern but it was glowing. To quote "Best pizza in my life". I was suspicious, but what the hell, it's the only tavern for ten miles or so and our bicycle trip ended up in Mineral.
So let me say - the pizza was very good - way up there in quality and quantity. Our waitress (Jamie - I think) was both efficient and friendly. Beer was good, patrons were interesting, the decor was dogpatch - but you don't go to Mineral for the deor.
