Featured dishes

View full menu
Braised Pork Belly
Seasoned and seared then topped with a sweet brown sugar glaze.
Crab Cake Beignets
These savory morsels are fluffy and perfect. We've taken our normal crab cake mix and stuffed our beignets with it.
Filet Delights
Filet mignon, cream cheese, jalapeño and cheddar wrapped in crispy bacon and doused with our honey pepper glaze. Enough said.
Potato Tumblers
Rolled into a gourmet bundle, ham, cheese, and potato come together for the sake of your taste buds. Served with our spicy ranch.
Seared Ahi Tuna
Served with black pepper and sesame crust, lightly seared to preserve its flavor and gently glazed in teriyaki sauce.

Reservation system perfection. Staff was amazing from the point we walked in until we left. Birthday celebration for our son, first time here, and it was almost perfection. The place is cozy and well managed. Menu has plenty of choices for all. Beau-Rita and Peach drink was really good. I would like the Rita to have been in a larger glass, less ice. Flavor good but too heavy on simple syrup. Crab cakes were OK, missing that cajun kick, blackened alligator bits, not good, seasoning was bland, and the meat was tough and chewy, plus the butter sauce is an odd dipping combination. On to the main courses. All the steaks 6 oz filet, 10 oz filet, and 24 oz ribeye cooked to perfection. Flavor was OK neded a little more salt to bring out a greater beef flavor. Compound butter was OK but should be a little less on the sweet side and more to the savory. Now, the star of the show was the Ranch and Bacon burger. Wow, what a nice dish from bun to meat it was perfection. The sides twice baked potatoes good, fries excellent, potatoes Augratin a little under cooked and lacking flavor. The rolls were great, like a fried donut but savory. They brought out a fried begneit for our sons birthday, and wow, it was amazing. Stuffed with oreos and drizzled chocolate and well plated. The chocolate chip creme cake was really good, and I loved the fact it was not too sweet. Coffee to wash the cake down was fantastic! Overall 4.2 experience.

Had a wonderful time here tonight. I was on my 2nd to last leg home to Bham after a conference in Dallas and hadn't eaten since 8PM the night prior. I wanted to find something comparable in price to use per diem and make up for the atrocious meal I had used $80 on (not to mention another $40 of my own money on drinks) the night prior in some ritzy neighborhood in Dallas. I got the pork chop with bacon-wrapped green beans, three berry torte, and calamari here. EVERYTHING-- and mean EVERYTHING-- was seasoned perfectly. The green beans were sweet with brown sugar and seasonings reminiscent of Fall. The calamari was fresh and not rubbery and the homemade tartar sauce with it packed a punch! The torte was so moist on the inside but with a crunch on the outside of the torte shell. The ice cream, in itself, was a dessert unto itself. The only real drawback was the way the pork chop was cooked. Although it was seasoned well, it was chewy as rubber and I could barely slice it. That was the only reason for the 4 stars and not 5, honesty. Otherwise, the young bartender made a great drink (something with blueberries) and was extremely pleasant to talk to. Would certainly be back if I'm coming through LA again but would most likely get another entree.

I don’t live in the Ruston area and honestly hadn’t heard of this place until yesterday. Was treated to a birthday dinner here and it was wonderful. Our server - unfortunately I can’t remember her name. She had beautiful curly hair & was working in the bar area. Super sweet young lady. Very welcoming and attentive. I did overhear her telling some other guest this was her last week there & she was going to a restaurant in Monroe. So you’re losing a great part of your team! As far as the food - My steak was a little too cooked for my medium rare liking and she immediately got it fixed. I didn’t take a photo of our entrees but we enjoyed the ribeye with compound butter and the French cut pork chop. Both were really good. I also had the railroad Rita cocktail - very good too. Dinner ended with the Oreo stuffed beignets that were so so yummy! Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner. I hope to be back soon!

Me and my daughter went to eat at your establishment and we were thinking that your restaurant opened up at 2 PM, but, while waiting on the manager who was outside taking pictures, came in and told us they close at 2 PM, and I stated to her okay. I asked her, while we were coming in, she knew this, why she just did not tell us this, that way we would not have had to wait on her while she was taking pictures and holding conversation, she proceeded to say, she did not know if we were with the private party or coming to dine....I stated to her okay...I told her they ust to open at 4 PM.She stated well, "I'm glad they don't open at 4PM, cause she can't be there.....I told that would be okay, are you the only person work here, she said no, I told her well it's okay...u start making sarcastic remarks...I told her I hear you and I heard you, she proceeded to tell me , they dint want ppl like me to come there and don't come back, I asked her was she the owner, she went on to proceed with her sarcastic attitude that yes, she is the Manger, I asked her who is the owner, and her name, she gave her name and proceeded to say, again, that they did not want ppl like myself and my daughter to come back there, told us to leave and dont come back, I told her that is okay...we will see about this...she wanted to tell me what I could and could not do...I told her to shut up talking to me, she do not tell me what to do....very rude and nasty she was and bold with it, I don't know if it was because we were blk that she felt she could talk to us with her attitude but it should be unacceptable...poor management skills we all were grown and just she is a Manager, it does not mean she can controll and speak to another human like she did because i stated to her she could have told us they were closed and they did at one time did not open until 4 PM....had i been white she would not have taken offence...ppl do not have to agree with her sarcastic words and remarks, she is not...
