Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Gramercy

First time visiting a Popeyes in LA. Food was great, had the spicy blackened tender with rice and beans.

The service was a joke. Rude, uncaring young woman at the drive thru that has made sure that I won’t return to this location. It’s an option/choice to be there, not forced to be there.

The operation here looks like it is very under-managed with long wait times for no reason and again, the worst service. We politely asked for a sauce for our tender and she said they didn’t have either one, ranch and honey mustard. Responded with “we ain’t got that”, okay so we asked for our missing biscuit and she told us to go back to the window. So we back up and ask the gentleman for our biscuit and any sauce they have. He asked which one do we want, we’re thinking whatever you have like honey mustard. We got 3 honey mustards and drove off. The young lady just smirked behind him as she had just walked in from outside and watched the interaction happen.

I'm a little late with this review but it must be written. Last Sunday 11/21, i was standing at the front counter and there was a customer in front of me, that i could tell had a delay due to medical reasons. I was calm because i could tell what was going on, there was a woman behind me who wasn't as patient. This review is to commend the young lady that as at the register. She was soooo patient and kind that gentleman, even after he'd ask her a question she had just answered. She never changed her tone with him and answered all of his questions without hesitation and i MUST say that seeing that was warming to me. The store was extremely busy and she could have easily been rude or rushed him but she didn't. THANK YOU young lady for your kindness.
