Something Special Café & Catering — Restaurant in Granby

Never been there until today after an event in nearby Granby. So glad we stopped by for a late breakfast. We both had egg benedict dishes. My wife had the Irish version with real cut up corned beef. The eggs were perfectly poached. My traditional benedict had a big slice of ham topped with a delicious sauce. The home fried potatoes on our plate were good enough to make a meal. The young waitress was extremely rude to me with facial expressions and when asking questions about the menu items. Thank you carol for providing me with a 5 star service today. The younger waitress was yelling at Carol about how she should be doing her job? The young waitress needs to worry about her job and the way she treats customers with her attitude and banging of things in the dinning room. Very uncomfortable. I most of the time tip 10.00 tip but today only 15% because of the young ladies rudeness. The food was amazing. The young girl is not cut out for this...

These workers have no sense of urgency! Placed a Togo order and watched my breakfast sandwich sit on the counter for at least 5 mins while the servers talked but the worst part was the sandwiches, they were so greasy! I asked for over medium egg but the eggs were so runny. It was more like over light. From my sandwich sitting on the counter by the Time I got to the car to eat it the egg had popped and my sandwich sat in egg yolk making the entire thing soggy and difficult to eat. Bagel wasn’t toasted either. Won’t go there...
