As usual VIP didn’t disappoint food wise. I rarely if ever do reviews but I couldn’t let this go. The service was fine as far as time to get food etc but let me tell you about the ridiculous and rude attitude of the server. I came in with 5 high school age girls. Before anyone says well you were rude or short or whatever we did absolutely nothing. We walked in and sat down and she came over immediately with attitude. Immediately. We didn’t do anything wrong to her. We weren’t rude or anything and she gave attitude from the get go. She literally acted like we were putting her out by ordering pizza and coming into the restaurant. I guess she doesn’t work off tips because there is no way this girl is getting any tips. She was rude, short, and acted like we were putting her out just being there.
She clearly hates her job and hates people because she did not want to be at work or remotely act like she cared. She got 0 tip and I wouldn’t tip her again. I won’t be returning anytime soon. Not that they care but I spend every weekend at the lake usually with a crowd of 5-10 and come in every once in awhile. With service like that I wouldn’t be surprised if they have...

Premade or not, it forms excellent base for the pie. This is not NY style pizza, so save your bitchin’ for someone who cares. This is a good ol’ small town, pizza joint pizza, loaded with a generous thick layer of fresh ingredients. 12“ Papa Joes Supreme. Not greasy, not overloaded with sauce. It is packed with meat, veggies and cheese. We had leftovers. Still tasty, cold from the refrigerator the next day.
Big comfortable deck with picnic tables for outside dining. Nice view of the cove. Right next door to Sharky’s ice house. I imagine this place gets to rockin’ on the weekend. Friendly service.
Great place to spend this beautiful spring afternoon. The pizza is good!
Someone’s dog either bit someone or took a crap on the deck; as of March, no...
Read moreStopped in on a Sunday afternoon. I’ve never been and neither had the person I was with even though we are both from here. So we had time. Atmosphere was great. Rainy Sunday afternoon type vibe. Walked in and it was staffed with teenagers…… ok no big deal. Listening to them fight and talk crap to each other was kind of funny. Cashier leaned over the counter like we had woke her up could’ve been quite a bit more helpful other than” in here or out there “? Found the menus, that was the end of the interaction. Dirty tables everywhere, which was shocking considering how many people were in that kitchen. Then ….. the Adult(?) came out to loudly inform a nice lady who was there with her two boys, that she couldn’t for some reason use her employee discount. Pizza its self was DELICIOUS! Despite it being randomly thrown together with groups of ingredients lumped in different areas....
