My cousin’s 21st birthday was coming up so I wanted to get her a cake. I chose Edgewood based off of the good reviews they had and I’m so glad I made that choice. I showed Rita a photo of a cake I was inspired by but let her make any changes/adjustments as she saw fit. She gave me great advice on what would work and wouldn’t work with the cake and I trusted her completely. She was really great with communication during the entire process, too. When it finally came to pick up the cake, I was in shock—it looked exactly how I wanted the cake to be and BETTER. It was seriously the prettiest cake I’ve ever seen and delicious, too! The reason for my last minute cake: I needed a small cake for my 1 year anniversary and the baker I had used for my wedding was unable to make one due to a family emergency. By far the best cake I have ever tried in my life! Rita is very professional and offers excellent guidance when deciding on cake flavors. I ended up ordering a six inch layered almond vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream layers and vanilla buttercream frosting on the outside. The cake far exceeded our expectations.
