Nothing bad about this food. The service was Excellent. The food was to die for. That means if ever in the area I will be back and I do recommend. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. A down home Diner. A diner that thrives on make sure their customers leave satisfied. I was there for breakfast. I cannot have pork. I asked if I could get some hamburger added to my omelet. The waiter said absolutely. Most places are not that accommodating. So much for stopping at Lambert's in Siketon, MO. Totally full for peanuts. Not much money. The decor I could look at forever but, I cannot. Long drive to Birmingham. When the food is this good I hate to see the end of the meal. This place is on my radar for life. Bon appetit. You have been told. If you don't stop by it's your own faught. God Bless this place Lord. This place is why we are called the United...

Excellent facility owned by a younger couple who grew up in town. They still work at the restaurant everyday and visit each table when your visiting and are actual workers themselves!

Food is fast and efficient. Cooked to order. Nothing sits! This restaurant has been a town favorite and is full always! They have take out as well and they’re very kind if ever a mistake or something forgotten, they fix it!

They work so hard, that they take only 2 family vacations a year and close down during and give their staff a break for the holidays every year!

Recommend: Burger Catfish nuggets HUGE Pork Tenderloin Sandwich (big...

Food was pretty good, yet rather generic. Dehydrated mashed potatoes, add-water gravy, bread is just from a sandwich sliced loaf, etc. I got the daily special stuffed pork something (can't remember exactly what it was called) and it was VERY good. I'd be more than happy to go back and try more items off the menu. May have been generic, but everything was good and in good portions. Drinks never went empty, either.

I'll add another star or two if my next visit(s) aren't accompanied by man from kitchen continually bickering with woman in dining room with...

We walked in, sat down ordered our food. Food came to the table. Wife didn’t like the stuffed cabbage it was overloaded with sauerkraut. I ordered some chili & it was đŸ”„. The dbl bacon cheeseburger was pretty good itself. It was all hot and fresh food. Getting down to the cleanliness of the place. It needs some deep cleaning. Bathroom’s looked like they’ve never been cleaned before. The door’s were covered in filthy hand dirt. You could tell the ceiling been leaking for a while. We’d def go back but the place needs some cleaning.

This place disappointed me a little. I got the pork tenderloin with potatoes, peas, and carrots, which wasn't too bad. My dad got a burger and fries, which he disliked. He compared the burger to one I had at a racetrack, which left me going to the bathroom 5 minutes later. Their water and tea had a sewer taste. The service was good, though. Sat ourselves at a table. The waitress was quick and responded to our needs. Put three stars for atmosphere because there were license plates everywhere, and we both thought it was overkill.

First timer here in my old home town Granite City. A true hidden gem with a charming atmosphere. I ordered the small Chili Mac. It came with 2 slices of buttered garlic bread. Chili was seasoned perfectly with extra onions, which I requested. Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. The prices are crazy reasonable too! Nice full menu. Definitely will be back!!!
