First time here since new ownership. I got draft beer, which was cold and good. Husband got the "freesoil sour," and he said it was the worst drink he ever had. It looked and tasted like a marg, also didnt taste any alc. The other couple we ate with got a beer and marg. Both were good. We got apps. 2 orders of fried asparagus and cheeseballs. The fried asparagus was 9 dollars and came with 5 aspargus, so basically 2 dollars a spear. Rip off. It was good, but i dont know if it was that good. The ranch was homemade, though, and SO absolutely delicious. I think it was the best ranch I've ever tasted. None of the dinners came with salad, so i didn't think they were worth the 20 dollar price tag. So, husband and I opted for a jalapeño burger and chicken strip basket. The basket was supposed to come with coleslaw, but we never saw it. Friends got the chicken taco special and chicken tender basket ( also missing slaw). Everyone thought their food was delicious. The service, however, was beyond sub-par. Service took forever when it was a slow Tuesday night. We were left waiting multiple times, wondering if we were forgotten about. Blonde bartender got a weird attitude with us. They brought our apps out at drastically different times even though everything was ordered at the same time, same with the entrees. Was not impressed

Their motto on the wall - Lousy food, warm drinks, bad service! What else can you say? Besides that's all a lie! I've been wanting to give Doc's a try and finally decided last night was the night! From the moment we walked in the packed doorway we were invited in with friendly smiles from the staff and the other customers. Little did we know we showed up on a special night with live music playing(Tyler was great)! My better half had a Philly sandwich with their amazing potato wedges, I had the Philly nachos. Both were excellent plus the drinks were great. Very fun, happy, energetic atmosphere. We even got to chat with the owner and try a couple shots of what he called the most disgusting drinks ever concocted, marshmallow whisky and paczki vodka! He wasn't kidding, those were some funky drinks! I'm happy to find another fun place to frequent while we're at the cabin! Most places have gone downhill since covid, I think Doc's has cranked it up a notch!

Visited my mom up in Michigan for Christmas all the way from Florida and had the pleasure of partaking in the experience that is Docs. I was blown away!!! The hot beer sign outside didn’t scare me I just had a Gin Martini!! Delicious and dirty!!! Everything was amazing from the popcorn croutons on my salad with out of this world chunky blue cheese dressing, to the fresh lake perch and don’t get me started on the desserts!!! CHEFS KISS!!! The place is ran well and with pride!! The staff was next level, friendly and funny I really felt at home we went back twice!!! I wish Docs all the best and cant wait to see the place again in the summer!!! 10 out of 10!!!

Tried Docs when they first opened, wasn't impressed, but thought I would give it another shot. NEVER AGAIN!! The restaurant is very loud and it took FOREVER to get our food and they weren't even that busy. Appetizer came out with our food, not before hand. Gave the waiter a little bit of a break because he seemed relatively new. I got The Freesoil Salad for a dinner. Came out on a regular side salad plate with maybe a cup of iceberg lettuce, some slivered red onion, and probably less then 1/4 cup of blue cheese crumbles and walnuts and cranberries all for only $12.00....wth???? I asked 2 servers if it was correct and they both said yes. Again, wth??? Then to top if off wanted chicken to add to it. What did I get for an additional $5.00?? One small deep fried chicken finger on a plate cut up; absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! My daughter got a side of chips with salsa with her meal and hardly touched them. When I asked her why she said the chips were stale. I told the waiter, he apologized, and then proceeded to charge us $4.00 for them. I did finally get them taken off the bill, but honestly that was a $90.00 bill with tip that I wish I would have never paid....

HORRIBLE My fiancé and I went on Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary, because I was curious to check it out after driving past it for 30+ years. We were not greeted at the door, nor were we acknowledged during several attempts to get the waitresses attention, even though the staff to customer ratio was well balanced. We were there an hour before we even got to order. There were empty tables while we waited, but the staff was in no hurry to clean them. By the time we finally ordered it was still nearly an hour to get our food. One couple left before they got their food, because the wait-staff completely ignored us the entire time we waited. The staff did not offer a single drink refill, and only begrudgingly got us a refill after I stopped a waitress and requested one. Even then, she got it wrong (the food order as well as the drink order). When the other neglected couple left one of the waitresses called out "sorry" as they headed out the door, and another older waitress scolded the younger waitress saying "don't ever apologize". The best part about my experience is that now when I drive past the restaurant I don't have any...
