Came in tonight with my wife to have a drink and dinner, after she suggested going after seeing what was offered on the special features for the weekend. Met with fantastic service as usual, we started off with two of the special drinks (she had the Tipsy Reindeer, I had the Nuts and Berries) which were fantastic. Then our Alamo Cannon Balls appetizer came out shortly after, which were also great. After that, our entrees showed up. She had the one meat platter with chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, which she enjoyed as usual. This is where things change: I tried the Beef Ramen bowl from the special features for the weekend. This thing should be on the menu PERMANENTLY. It's that good. A decent solid spice level all the way through, the veggies and beef and noodles and broth were all cooked perfectly, and it had all the right seasonings. When our waitress Sam came out to check on us after our food arrived, I mentioned this to her and she relayed it to the chef, who then came out to say thanks. During a quick chat with Stevie, he told me he's been trying to do things to bring new and better things to the menu. And I have to agree with him, while the menu there isn't bad by any means, it hasn't really changed much, and could do with a few additions to it, such as this Beef Ramen bowl. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner with fantastic service, as usual, and we look forward to coming...

07/03/24 We both had the 1/2 rack of ribs special. It came with fries n cornbread for $15.99. I added a side of their delicious slaw. Excellent smokey ribs. 10/5/24 I had a strip steak topped with shrimp scampi, baked potato, buffalo cauliflower. The steak was deliciously seasoned and a perfect medium rare, the cauliflower a perfect tender crisp n tasty. Wife's excellent fettucini alfredo tasted like it was made from scratch. Server was excellent. The only glitch was my veg came out about 8 minutes after my meal.

9/28/24 Excellent food. Excellent waitress, Tiffany. Outstanding service. The place was very clean.

Ribs and pulled pork were 10/10. Brisket was juicy n nice 9/10 (had an awfully large fatcap) Pulled chicken was all white meat 8/10 (wudda been better, to me, if it was juicy, dark meat but u gotta appease the majority) Beans contained ground beef or sausage and were sweet n delicious 10/10 Mac n Cheese, the best Iv ever had at a restaurant. 11/10 Slaw was 8/10. Mayo-based dressing needed a lil flavor boost but was good. Cornbread had something very sweet brushed on top. I was expecting savory but still good. Great for dessert. 8/10

Great drinks: Iron Ridge Octoberfest is better than Sam's n wife loved her Wingo Lemonade (blueberry was delicious)

The feast for two filled us up n we took some home. Great price, I think u get ur...

Stopped in traveling from Harrisburg. The atmosphere was great, felt and looked like it would be a great place to eat good bbq and I was not disappointed. I decided to get the 3 meat bbq meal with brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken with mac and cheese and applesauce. First off the service was insanely good. I was in the restaurant for just over half hour altogether. I ordered my food and the wait was less than 5 mins before I was stuffing my face. Out came the plate and the portions would have even made Fred Flinstone himself blush! The brisket was too notch and best part they gave you huge slabs of both the flat and point end of brisket which goes a long way in my book to satisfying the customer. Two heaping piles of pulled pork and chicken accompanied the brisket with a good sized portion of very respectable mac and cheese. The only downside I found was that they you do not get any bread or rolls with the meal to make a sammie outta the pulled products. Also I am a BBQ fanatic, and while they had several in house sauces to choose, you could only get one and it came in a small cup that wasnot enough in my opinion for all the meat. I would rather see all the sauces being on the table and being able to try them all and use as much as I would like. With that said, I wouldnt let it deter you from stopping in and enjoying some...

A Hidden Gem in Lewistown, PA!! Wingman is a standout in a region with few mid- or high-end dining options. We stopped in on one of our frequent trips to Huntingdon—mostly because they were open until 9pm, while most other spots had already closed by 6 or 8. We’re glad we did. I had the fried Haddock special, which came with house-made hush puppies and fried shrimp. While that might sound like standard pub fare, it was executed to perfection. The breading was light and crisp, the shrimp perfectly cooked, and the house-made tartar sauce packed real flavor. Bartender Jason stands out for his welcoming attitude and knowledge of the drink menu—excellent beer selections and a surprisingly serious cocktail list. This was our fourth visit, and each time we’ve enjoyed great service and a comfortable, well-designed space. Prior highlights were the ribs, BBQ Mac and cheese and chicken wings. This time, we also had the chance to meet Chef Stevie, who walked us through the weekend specials and shared the inspiration behind their menu. You can tell there’s real passion, intention and skill behind what they’re doing here. I’ll definitely be watching for seasonal specials and planning more stops.
