Smith and Betts Barbecue — Restaurant in Gravette

I brought my husband here for his birthday dinner, and sadly, we were not impressed. For starters the young lady behind the counter was not friendly, she seemed to have an attitude, but all well she could’ve been having a bad night. We both got the brisket dinner. It comes with 2 sides and “toast”. At a whopping 16.99 each. The brisket was bland, the tiny tub of sauce gave little flavor to the other wise decent size brisket portion. The mac and cheese…. It sucked, I apologize theres no nice way to put it. The beans were the best out of the whole meal. Although the portion sizes for the sides were not ideal. And the toast, the toast was sad. It was a piece of texas toast that had been placed on a skillet just long enough to give a little color and then cut in half. It was just a bland piece of bread. I have picked up here for doordash on many occasions, and it always smelled so delicious, but we were very disappointed. This was not worth...

2025: The place looks great with a fresh coat of paint and modern farm chic decor! Everything was hot and fresh tasting. We got brisket, potato salad, baked beans (pork n beans type), pulled pork waffle fries w cheese sauce on the side, and bbq eggrolls. Eggrolls were on point - omg! tried both bbq sauces; the spicy was just a wee bit too spicy for me, but taste was good. I hope everything stays consistent because I'll be a regular.

2022: My husband says this is the best bbq, so he stops by to being dinner home when he goes through town. I like the food a lot, but sometimes the potato salad doesn't have enough potatoes but the taste is consistent. I'm from the South and have been on cape 11+ years, and let me tell you...... I felt like I was out at a family BBQ! Take me home Betts BBQ!!!
