Fast and friendly service. We had a large group of 8, including 2 children and one adult who may have had a bit too much to drink before arriving and was boisterous. But the waitress didn't give any indication of annoyance with him and laughed along with us. She frequently came by our table to check on us. There were a few times that she had refilled my tea without me even noticing or there being much consumed since the previous fill. That was the first time I have ever received such thoughtful service from a family restaurant. The dining room was clean and appeared to be kept clean persistently. The menu had a broad and varied selection of dishes and was easy to read. The only suggestion for the menu that I would make based on my experience is; The description for the 5-Pizza Topping Stromboli states "choice of 5 pizza toppings and mozzarella cheese" but does not indicate where to find a list of toppings to choose from. This gave me a little bit of trouble in making my decision. But then I found the list after flipping the last page of the menu. The dish I ordered was delicious and very satisfying. No raw dough at the ends like I have experienced at other establishments that have the same item on their menu. Overall, my first experience at this establishment left me with a very positive impression. I foresee House of Pizza becoming a frequent choice for meals in the future and I would give a high praise and recommendation to any of my...
Read moreCalled to order a sub and stromboli. The waitress was really nice but the woman that was running the show in the background wasn't. The waitress asked for the address and i gave it to her and it was 6 mins away. She asked for my order and i told her. When she passed on the order to the back there was a woman in the background that asked what my order was and she said no no no very loud, loud enough for me to hear it over the phone. So the waitress said she won't deliver unless it over 30 dollars. So i ordered some cheese bread and asked if that was enough or do i need to order more and the waitress went to the woman in the background and told her this and she said let me talk to him. So she got on the phone and said sorry sir i have one driver and he can't deliver to you, can you pick your order up. I said no, that's why i asked for delivery. She said sorry we can't help you and i tried to say well I've never had a place of business say or act like this but before i could finish i was hung up on. I will never order from this place again and i hope that everyone who reads this at least understands that these people could give a rats butt about you or your order. If they will short cut things like this then what else could they be short cutting? Order at...
Read moreThe counter woman was really RUDE. I got take out. Called at 10:05 am, when they opened at 10:00am to ensure that my order was placed early for a smooth interaction. When I called I asked "where do I when I get there?" Smaller restaurants don't usually have designated "to go" places and I wanted to be considerate because they made a point to say they were short staffed. They can't take payments over the phone, so when I got there and saw a sign AT THE FRONT that said "carry out" I went there. I had to go and find somebody to get my order, and then the cashier was rude telling me "there is a line." Yes, there is a line because you don't take cards over the phone for people who place to go orders to avoid the line. That is the whole point of take out, to get it and GO on about your way. They also blame the slow service on "short staff" when the issue is clearly that they only have one credit card reader. The math works likes this: 2 readers makes the line move twice as fast, the faster people get out happy, the more people can come in and want to come back. This will increase business and quality of customer service with only half the people having to deal with the...
