Pearly Gates Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Green Bay

Came in to the bar, there was no sign about seating and no where to sit. No biggie, we wait and soon find 2 spots at the bar. Only one bartender, felt bad for her as she ran to keep up. She came took our drink order and I asked if we could order food at the bar. "Yep" and handed us menus to look over. We are ready to order when I notice a gentleman talking to another customer about thier table. The party has added 2 more people and needs a bigger table so they have to move. I mentioned that we were waiting to order when I was told we could not order food at the bar and had to be moved to a table. Luckily enough we could take the table that just opened. I'm frustrated with 1 how rude he was about having to sit at a table and 2 the waitress told we could order food at the bar when we got to the table. Just hang a sign! Maybe tell guest sitting is limited and please add your name to a list for a table instead of rudely ordering a customer to a table after they waited at the bar. Pearly Gates has very good food and a broad menu. The drinks are solid and they definitely give a good pour. You won't find this is a place to go for craft beer. It's going to have a few basics on tap and some bottles and cans of course.

It has a solid liquor bar they're not at all light on the poor as mentioned.

The characteristics that stand out most significantly of this place as far as atmosphere is its extremely pro veteran. They have many organized events that support veterans and you'll find that this is a favorite spot for military, police, firefighters, etc. Looking for a place to chill for a while.

Owners of this restaurant is super awesome and know how to run business. All staffs are great and run smooth to take order.

Owner does show respect to Veterans and appreciate . He does give a nice Veterans coin for those who serve in army. Every year they do fundraising for veterans and pick winner for raffle. So I have been hearing past few year winners said “There is CATCH!” If you win then they will make you BUY EVERYBODY a drink. How stupid is that. Rip off.

Their foods are way too delicious and cook ever perfect. I love their chicken, wrap and burgers!
