This is a small town pizzaria which has changed ownership several times over the last 25 years that we've lived down the street from it. It seems to get better every time. The restroom is small and unisex but the majority of the customers live within walking distance so I've rarely seen it used. The selection of store goods runs from a packet of Tums to one of the largest varieties of candy I've seen. Fresh cakes and pies change frequently as does the actual menu. They offer a monthly pizza (Fruity Pebbles and Pancake are 2 of the many that I avoided), a dessert pizza, and specialty pizzas with gluten-free options. Greeks salads, wings, and subs are just a few offerings from a menu that also offers sandwiches, sides, and appetizers. It has a small town vibe and friendly workers. There is ample parking and seating, a small banquet-type room and a special seating area in the vault of the old bank that was purchased and renovated by the current owners. Online ordering has brought them up to speed when it comes to quick carry-out service. We use this business primarily for their cash and carry items rather than actual food/menu purchases. The menu has expanded but so have the prices. The quality of food (basic pizzaria plus plenty of obviously frozen food) is not worth it. With a gas station right across from it, I personally have not stepped foot in this less-than-8-houses-away business for a year or more. Since they started scanning driver's licenses for cigarette purchases last year, my husband stopped going there as well. As long as the gas station is open, we chose them over the...
Read moreLets face it-as far as "good" Central Ohio pizza is concerned, the greater Marion area is, quite frankly, a wasteland. I made my peace with this until I went to Berwick Pizza. My faith has been restored, because Austin and the team at Berwick do things PROPERLY. Hands Down, Without Question, this is the BEST pizza I've had in a very long time. And it's so very appreciated. We tried a small (12") Jalapeño Popper and a mini (10") Pizza of the Month - General Tso's Chicken. "Does that even work?" you may ask - Yes it Does. Very very well in fact. Everything on their menu looked exciting and delicious - I'd recommend getting a couple of the personal or mini sized pizzas because there are so many cool options to try, it was fun to try each other's and share. Theres a very simple yet vast beverage selection, ample seating for couples and families alike. The attitudes from everyone we interacted with were fantastic, the hostess (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was cool under pressure when the family that was dining near us had a few littles that were fueled by one of the dessert pizzas. She cooly and calmly wrangled them with a project to occupy them as the parents finished up. This place is 1000% home-town class and is top-notch. We'll be going back often. See you Soon,...
Read moreMy husband saw a post on Facebook and decided that we should try Berwick Pizza. And we are so glad we did! This family owned and operated pizza shop has something for everyone and especially for pizza connoisseurs and dessert pizza lovers. Their unique and creative monthly pizza specials are beyond imagination. We tried the Jelly Donut pizza of the month tonight and it was scrumptious. We also got a Fruity Pebbles dessert pizza and brought it home and it was a winner with our kids too. We sat inside and enjoyed a Mac N Cheese BBQ Pulled Pork pizza, a custom stuffed crust pizza, and cheesy fries. All of our food came out quickly, piping hot, and even delivered to our table by the friendly father and son owners (Todd and Austin). We didn’t get the name of the young lady who was taking our order but she was such a lovely person with a joyful personality. Whether you eat in or take it to go, my advice is to TRY THEIR PIZZAS!!! Berwick Pizza is putting the tiny town of Green Camp, Ohio on the map. Thank you all for a great dinner/date meal....
