I have been a customer of Chiaros for a long time, I ordered dinner as a last minute decision, ordered 2 cheesteaks, personal pizza and an order of pierogies, upon arrival at window was asked what my number was I told the yong girl my number, she walked off and came back to ask what I ordered, when I told her she asked cash or card I said card, then some boy took over ringing me up but never approached me about anything, then the girl said my total was $51.46, when I asked why the girl seemed she didn't know, I asked for receipt and menu, I pulled forward and stopped to compare what I ordered to menu prices and didn't come close to what I was charged. I called and some little boy answered to go over things, one of the things that stuck out and I jumped on was $8.95 for an order of pierogies when it's in the menu for $5.50, he said its not right in the menu, its the numbers below, that's ridiculous, $8.95 for 3 measly pierogies????? Are they made with gold? Really your gonna blame how the menu is cut or typed up to you over charging me? If menu isn't right it shouldn't be used or passed out, don't blame the menu for you over charging people, putting whatever numbers in the register you chose and not expect people to question it. Management needs to check on their employees and how they are overcharging people. Something like that could effect a business, guess it's time to look else where, their food was going downhill and now overcharging is a shame, the place use to be a great...
Read moreAfter reading reviews, I came to Dave's. Well that was a big invitation for me. So into the vacuum I decided to go. Hmmm, looks like a rather pleasant vacuum I've driven into OK, so I have a new place that is the basis on which I will judge Pizza. Came off the bike trail and ordered by phone. Fifteen minutes later we roll in and there we are warmly greeted by a friendly group of people who just made me so welcome. Pepperoni and broccoli on an extra cheese large pie. People, this was delicious! The colors were vibrant and with all that meat and cheese it was not dripping with oil. And the flavor? Fresh with the tastes all blending together. We had beer (Molson) {from next door-also friendly people} We had soda (fountain Dr. Pepper) {from the friendlies inside}. We had water (we brought that). It all worked. When we ride this trail, Chiaro's will be...
Read moreChiaro’s is a no frills pizzeria that delivers on great pizza and reasonable prices…it’s no wonder they seem to be the “house pizzeria” for nearby Camp Green Lane whenever a special camp event or celebration are in order!
We ordered a couple of single slices and a (gigantic!) Philly cheesesteak on the recommendation of some other patrons, and the food did not disappoint. Service was friendly; they offer sit down table service if you want but will happily let you grab your pizza at the counter and seat yourself if you want. Bonus points for real silverware and plates even though we didn’t opt for the full table service. Thank you for...
