The service was great. We stopped last minute to stay the night on our way back east. We checked in just after 8:20pm but wasn't able to place the order until 8:40. They close at 9:00. They took our order and had it ready for us pretty quick. They were nice, but that is where the good part ends and the really bad part begins. We ordered General Tsoa's with white rice and it came with soup, so I got the egg drop. My husband got Mongolian Beef with white rice and hot and sour soup. The soups were not good. The egg drop had Celery and carrots in it. The hot and sour was more solid ingredients and barely any broth. The flavor on both was not good at all. The Mongolian Beef was awful. There was a lot of meat which normally is good, but the flavor was very lacking the sauce was awful and there was like every vegetable they had in the restaurant in it. The General Tsoa's was not General Tsoa's. I know that it was supposed to be that because they wrote it on the food container. What it was was what kind of vaguely tasted like orange chicken with sesame seeds on it. It left a weird after taste. For those of you that see this review, know that it was right as they were closing, so that could have had something to do with it. I wish that I could have left a positive review, but the food didn't deserve anything higher. Service,...
Read moreWe found this place on google. Rated very well! My rating: Food 4/5 Service 1/5 Value 5/5 I tried to order over the phone, I called a few times with no answer. When they did answer, I placed my order and was told 30 min. “Sounds good to me!!” Once we arrived, no parking (not a big deal). They also don’t have a clear entrance. When you enter, there isn’t an area for where to go. The sign “wait to be seated” is past the bathrooms and bar area. When I stood by the sign they asked what I was doing. “I’m here for to-go. I just wasn’t sure where to go…” “Oh just stand over there. Someone will help you.” And she walked away. There were two parties ahead of me that also hadn’t been helped. No one greets you when you come in, and the host table (with no host) is a regular table with napkins and silverware (should I seat myself?) and when you say hi to servers they won’t acknowledge you. I tipped the to go individual for her time. Food is sooo worth it. But based on service for to-go, I don’t think I would ever dine-in. Lots of really good food for a good price. But...
Read moreWell I called in the order, they told me 30 minutes, my drive was 30 minutes and when I got there I proceeded to wait another 15. Not a huge deal. The won tons were good aside from the sesame oil flavor which I don’t normally notice at other restaurants, again not a big deal though. The big problem is the lo mein. I get lo mein every time I get Chinese food, so pretty often, and this is the worst I’ve EVER had. It was Spaghetti noodles, carrots and meat in a puddle of sesame oil. I’m sorry but Panda Express has better lo mein and I can’t figure out why this place as such good reviews. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Will...
