Absolutely the worst meal I’ve ever had, with equally poor service. Imagine a turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans. How do you mess that up? Well, for starters, the cook sliced the turkey breast thinly (for sandwiches), then the waitress cooked it on the grill to dry it out. The mashed potatoes were clearly from dehydrated potatoes (and were soupy), and the green beans were bleh. The best part? Watching the waitress squeeze the gravy out of a packet and microwave it. The one waitress on duty spent most of her time talking to her friend and co-worker, didn’t hear the order right and brought me the beans and potatoes in bowls. When I asked her where the turkey was, she looked like a deer in headlights. She was so focused on gossiping about another coworker she couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to the ONE CUSTOMER in the place - me.

Pretty cool, silver, retro looking cafe right off the interstate. We were asked to sit where we pleased upon entry. The waitress was quite attentive but had no idea how the meatloaf or chicken fried steak tasted so we gave them a chance regardless. I found it funny how the cook mixed hot water out of the coffee machine to add to the dehydrated potatoes for our mashed potatoes. My meatloaf came with those potatoes, corn and a cold roll. The gravy was ok, potatoes were, well, dehydrated and the meatloaf came out cold inside. It had decent taste but could of used seasoning. The corn tasted canned and unseasoned. Definitely need some refinement in the kitchen. It could be a great little place.

Awesome little 50s style/themed diner open 24 hours. I’ve only been here twice in two weeks but it’s pretty darn good for small town USA. Cozy, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for people who desire such. I had some green chili on one of my breakfasts and it was the bomb. Next dish was the biscuits and gravy with eggs and a side of sausage. Everyone knows biscuits and gravy are hit and miss depending on the biscuits. These biscuits were soft, flaky and great. A must try. Penny’s is a nice little hidden gem.

If you are in the area looking for a place to eat, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE! You will LOVE it! Hands down the best restaurant we’ve ate at during our vacation! I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The atmosphere was incredible! So fun! Felt like stepping back in time! Had a large group of 4 adults and 8 kids. The kids absolutely loved the atmosphere and classic feel! Right down to the music playing in the background! It was truly more than a meal, but a very memorable experience that none of our group will ever forget. Our server Erin was absolutely amazing! She made our experience even better! She was great and friendly with the kids and every single order was spot on! The food cooked by Beth was the best patty melt I’ve ever had! Everyone said their food was amazing! That girl can cook!!! You can tell everything is hand made and fresh. It truly was the best meal experience of our vacation and we have traveled 8 states! Beth and Erin were the cherry on top. They laughed with us, chatted with us, and by the time we left, we felt like part of the family. I’m gonna miss this diner when we head back to Texas! Thank you Beth and Erin for giving us more than just a great meal, you gave us a wonderful memory we will all remember for years to come. The cute little diner with the 2 fun women in Green River Wyoming. Y’all will stay with us long after we are gone. I can’t say thank you enough for such...

I don't have an opinion on the food. I gave mine to my dog. My husband food probably would have been better if he had a fork. What's a knife without a fork. The service was HORRIBLE!!! We had to ask for everything that is accustomed to dining at any restaurant. Service, napkins, silverware, and just simple acknowledgment. The manager came by the other tables and asked them how everything was, but we weren't offered that same courtesy. My thoughts were that this was racially motivated because we are a biracial couple (I'm black and my husband is white), and he got treated a little better then myself while I got ignored and overlooked. I had to ask him to ask for things that they didn't provide for us. I realized it was just this restaurant that has no class. Other places in the town gave a completely different view. They were helpful and welcoming. I stand by what said I don't...

We went to Penny's Diner late night/early morning food. Now anyone in Sweetwater county knows this is fair week, tons of people in town, fair not ending until midnight. Penny's is the only place to get food in Green River after 10 pm for most places midnight for McDonald's but anyways not even gas stations have hot dogs. So why on earth weren't they over staffed?! The two gentleman working, were running their a$$ off! Even in all the hectic to go orders, everyone filing thru the door. Food taking a lot longer than it should have they were still nice! It took an hour to get our food and I do NOT blame that on the employees!! Only one of their fryers works. This is all about a corporation beating their employees to death, paying junk wages, while running with busted equipment all to save money and make higher profits! And everyone wonders why they...
