Pappy's Pub — Restaurant in Green Township

Pappy's Pub is a great place for lunch or dinner as well as a cocktail or two. My wife and I stopped in for their Date Night. We walked in to a very clean and friendly restaurant everyone was smiling and having a good time. We chose a table and sat down. We were promptly greated by our waitress who took our drink orders and informed us of the dinner specials. We both decided on the BBQ Platter. When it came to the table I was a bit surprised at the good sized portions. We dug into our meal, it was amazing! Bite after bite, was incredible! The mombo sauce was outstanding. Pappy's is a great upgrade on the old bars that used to occupy this spot. It's clean, inviting, and friendly. There's still a bar aspect to it, but it's definitely more of a restaurant now, primarily for dinner hours. They also have several new flat screen TVs for watching sports. Beer selection is decent and usually includes some regional and national craft brews. The food is by and large quite good.Through multiple experiences we've noted that the upscale items like fish (unless fried) and steak are not always on point, but the pizzas are great and the sandwiches and burgers never disappoint either.
