Our family of 5 came to eat lunch today. My husband asked an employee if anything in the roast beef sandwich had SOY in it, so she texted the chef and they said âyes, the pimento cheese has SOY in itâ. I went to place our order, and asked them to leave the pimento cheese off the roast beef sandwich because my son has a SOY allergy. She turned around and asked a lady with long, straight, brown hair in a ponytail with blue shirt and white shorts who shot her down immediately and âno, we canât do that. They are premadeâ. She would not even entertain asking the chef to put meat on some bread. I donât care about any reasoning you may have for being this rigid and un-accommodating. Why in the world are you destroying your âfarm to tableâ food with SOY. Why in the world are you using SOY in your âhomemadeâ pimento cheese, if it is indeed homemade? None of the 5 of us ate because we arenât going to support an establishment that will not accommodate a child with reasonable request.
