Quintessential small town diner. Great natured apron wearing waitress ✔️ Hot coffee ✔️ Biscuits and gravy ✔️ Chicken and waffles ✔️ Omelet with home fries ✔️ EXCEPT that the chicken & waffles had a maple gravy that I would happily drown in if given the opportunity. Aaaaaand I WOULD have posted a picture of the biscuits and gravy, because they were absolutely marvelous, and only bested by my very own grandmother's. HOWEVER, try as I might, they just don't photo very well (try if you don't believe me). Needless to say, we had a great breakfast. We left full, and well caffinated. And will definitely be back.

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch around 3pm. The menu states the dinner items on the menu are available after 4pm, so keep that in mind. There are a smaller number of items on the menu than some places, but still a good variety. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was prompt and out food came out quickly. The quality was great, but the portions were on the smaller size in my opinion. Overall it was a great experience and we will have to return for dinner some time. It cost us $32 for both of us for lunch, including our soft drinks.

One of the things that I noticed upon arrival was how well this team worked together. There were only two servers and the cook, and they were obviously slammed as every table in the restaurant was dirty when we got there. They focused more on their customer service and worked the dirty tables after taking care of the present tables. They worked together so well that it made an impression on me. The food was impeccable. Robust servings, great taste, and that Midwest vibe. They were very good about making accommodations as some members of our party were vegetarian. Highly recommend.

I orderd the taco salad but it has pork. Well..the pork was old..reheated, bland..tasted bad and it was long pieces...for $16..it wasn't worth it in a greasy spoon. It was maybe a $7 taco salad..dried out old black beans, lettuce or whatever green was on the very bottom. The menu is waaaay overpriced. The loaded poutine was embarassing..probably 10 french fries with brown gravy...and a very tiny amount of roast beef $12. I am thankful that we didn't get sick from the meat but I'm very surprised.

See how the owner responded. They won't be in business long. Their taco salad...it's definitely a taco salad..had old pork. Instead of apologizing..they get smart with me to say have you been out to eat anywhere? Um yes..big time foodies who won't go back to your not very good overpriced business. Red Rooster was a thousand times better!

Our server was great.

Every review I give is honest. They clearly don't understand cost control or budgeting, competitive pricing. I've been in the restaurant industry for decades.

The owner needs to Google what customer service is because without it..your restaurant won't survive..many people have expressed my same sentiment.

We only came because of Under the Radar visiting.

Don't worry..we won't be back..too many better restaurants who are consistent and fairly priced and whose manager doesn't try to argue with everyone who calls out the...

Long waits, poor untrained service, improperly prepared meals. Huge disappointment. I wished i could leave a negative stars rating. Quick search for another restaurant. I recently had dinner at The Red Fox Restaurant. Beware of the lack of qualified employees working there. Long waits for service. We finally encountered a 14 year girl working that was sweet but absolutely clueless to what she was suppose to be doing. After 35 minutes I finally got the attention of another waitress. We placed our order. Waited another 40 minutes. Found our waitress to ask where our food was. Ten minutes later the food arrived. All at my table mentioned their food wasn't hot but ate anyways. My dinner was another story. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables centers were all cold. I found another waitress to inform her of my concerns. She simply took me plate to the kitchen and tried to microwave it warm. Everything was now dried out. I rejected the dinner for a second time. Short time later I was greeted by the owner or manager (she never cared to take the time to introduce herself) thought she could make it right. This was POOR SERVICE, BADLY PREPPARED MEALS THAT WERE SERVED COLD. My only goal in this review is to inform future customers on what they might expect if they visit THE RED FOR RESTRAUNANT in Greenbush, Michigan. This is my story. Peace RNS Hartford,...

I first thought it was a gamble to start a restaurant in the middle of a pandemic compounded by all the restrictions that go along with it. I have been there three times after their opening and have been very pleased with how efficient they are and how safe I felt. Above that the food was great and more than enough for leftovers. For me, the number one thing I need to be a return customer, is the staff. On this front they have hit a home run. It felt like walking into a family get together. Right now, because of state order, they are only doing takeout. Tonight we called in and ordered their pizza and family size salad. We inadvertently showed up 20 min. early and sat in the parking lot people watching for 10 min. before going in. We watched several people come and go with their takeout. I didn’t see anyone wait more than a couple minutes. Customer service, good food and friendly efficient staff along with getting customer loyalty is not a gamble. I am anxious to see what happens when the state allows inside dining. Their salad was the best. My only complaint was at pick up, my wife turned down their homemade salad dressing. I have had it before, I complained all the way home. BTW, the New Years ribs were fantastic and the pizza is definitely a return item. Good...
