Had breakfast here one Sunday morning and it was delicious. They give you so much food! The pancakes are huge, and if you get the blueberry ones, they come fully loaded with plump berries.
Coffee is Maxwell House (or at least it was at the time) which isn't my favorite, but it was kept hot and fresh so it wasn't bad.
Service was great, and she could tell we weren't regulars but was patient with us as we decided.
Food came out hot and yummy. Home fries weren't my favorite, a little bland and greasy, but not horrible. Eggs cooked perfectly.
UPDATE: 2019 This update is for getting take-out from here one evening. We ordered at work for those of us working late. I called it in and was told ten minutes. I arrived ten minutes later and it wasn't ready. No biggie. But, then was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Not thrilled about that, but what are you going to do? They apologized, but it didn't seem genuine. I guess that's because I wasn't a regular, because I watched them treat the regulars differently.
Food was ok, but not spectacular. Prices were...
Read moreI'm a truck driver and me and husband eat all over the world so here's my reviews..I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce that came with a salad and toast. The spaghetti wasn't hot at all look warm at best the sauce was bland no season and really no meat to be called a meat sauce. The waitress told me it was the best in the area and one of her favorites ,but she hasn't ate spaghetti all over the world like myself..Now my husband got the hoagie cheeseburger with all the topping like mayo, tomato, bag lettuce and I think pickles and cheese. For his side he got onion rings they where hot and fresh and very big he said they where good but he likes smaller onions like 1/2 inch not 2 1/2 inch wide ..The cheeseburger was okay that was his word when I asked him about his food ..The salad with the spaghetti came with wet lettuce, cucumbers, and bell pepper, tomato the ranch dressing was good that's it .I will not mark this on my map as a return, but maybe it was a bad day for there...
Read moreNormally a great place to eat but today they had no creamed chipped beef and didn't want to provide an alternative like sausage gravy or ground beef gravy. The hamburger steak I ordered instead was bland and the hash browns were brown in name only. Also I think the blueberries in the pancakes were sour. My daughter had to pick them all out of the pancakes to eat them. My advice is if you have milk, butter, and flour then you are not "out" of at least something close to creamed chipped beef. It is easy to make a quick roux and throw in some spice and meat. If you are using pre-made gravy out of a bag, then maybe you shouldn't be serving that on your...
