Yeah...sorry I walked across the busy street to get to this place. I rarely write a bad review, even if the place deserves one: I try and accentuate the positive and let you know if there are any negatives. after all people's tastes in facilities and services and product different greatly sometimes. So I try to take that into consideration. I was psyched when I went in. I saw pics of great-looking burgers and was ready for one! I'd never been to a Jack's, so I asked the gentleman behind the counter what he would recommend. He pointed to a picture representation of their combo menu. The double cheeseburger looked great and he said it was "...on special..." for only $3.99! Great! Gimme that! A couple minutes later there was my burger...minus the 'combo' fries and drink? Oh, says the guy, that's just the price for the burger. He needs another $5 for fries and a regular drink. $5? Really? No thanks. I took my burger in hand and walked. I was the ONLY person in the store and there was ONE car in the drive thru...should have been a red flag, especially since it was around dinner time. When I got back to my vehicle, I opened up my $4 (discounted from $6) (REALLY?) burger and...well...even though I hate McD's, I found myself longing for their two-cheese burger cardboard-tasting value menu. Obviously, Jack's was not for me. Their double cheeseburger was about the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger, which is on the $2 value menu. Never again.

The best fish sammich in western PA. Great crispy fries too. 5/20/2024 Still the best. One sammich = 2 meals. 6/23/2024 - A sad day at Jack's - Three of us each had the fish sandwich at Jack's and they were substandard. They had run out of hoagie buns so the sandwiches were served on 2 hamburger buns. Worse, the taste of the fish was not right. We asked if they had changed their supplier, breading, or oil. They said nothing changed. We even tried the fish without the bun, but it still tasted off. What is worse that even though we complained about the taste and the hamburger buns were a poor substitute, they still charged us $20 for each fish sandwich. Finally, they had the temerity to charge a credit card fee of $1.56 on a $40 order. Jack's is no longer our go-to fish sandwich and we may not come back.

Nice place inside country and all The waitress we had had only been working there for a month and was very forgetful 😢 non stop having to remind her for things we ordered really a shame the manager and hostess were amazing !!!!! Anyways I order chicken Parmesan and I came with a side I ordered the side salad the salad was really nice and fresh the chicken Parmesan on the other hand I was not really impressed with it was a chicken patty instead of chicken breast and had a slight hint of being sweet or cinnamon and it wasn’t really too turned on by that at all anyways I’d like to try this place again and see how it is with their other meals my friend goes there a good amount and says it is pretty good

Updated: Thank you Jacks for removing all the photos that had prices in them, would have been nicer without the comment tho, but then I might not have seen it, but your prices are still outrageous. Due to the cost of eating out, we haven't eaten out lately. We used the pictures on here to get an estimate of prices, and boy was that a mistake! Their prices are not accurate, be aware he raised the prices and the pictures have not been updated so those pictures are showing prices that are HALF the ACTUAL cost of the item. And I understand things are more expensive, but double the price is excessive! My husband and I come here often. The staff is very friendly, the head cook or sometimes the owner will come around and make sure everything is going we. They have had some struggles in the past, but they are definitely on the right track and continue improving. We recommend this place to friends and family. Their fish sandwich is big enough to feed a small family and is delicious. My only critique is that I wish their sandwiches came with fries instead of chips, which are basically Ruffles out of a bag. But other than that great food and a great...

Almost ran out of gas! We thought for sure we were hallucinating this wonderful place! We wanted to be on back roads instead of the main highway. But we forgot to get gas first. So we were literally almost at 0 miles left!!! We actually stopped about a half mile before and pulled over to see if someone would stop and let us know which way was the closest gas station. Sure enough a lady stopped and said it was just over the hill. We were so excited and relieved!!! We saw it from a distance and the closer we got, we saw a young man coming to our vehicle to pump gas. I looked at my husband and said "doesn't it feel like a Stephen King movie...." this doesn't even seem real. 😂 we got out and used their restroom and got a few coffees. The young lady offered to make a fresh pot. Everyone there was absolutely lovely!!! Very polite. Clean restrooms! On our way out, we said "this place doesn't even exist. God probably just created it for us since we were out of gas; we'll probably go past this on the way home and it'll be a corn field or something...." So thank you! You were all a breath of...
