I feel like ice cream and desserts in general have gotten a little out of hand. When you go to get dessert out and a milkshake is $8 and you can buy an entire gallon of ice cream for the same price it just doesn't taste as good. But then there's the igloo with reasonable scoop prices. They don't have a large variety, but what they do have is very good. Plus it's always good to support local and I'm not talking about the local boosters which is a chain. I'm talking about truly local. Go here!

Nice little place to stop in for a quick ice cream; one of those places that you go to for tradition and routine, after ball games, practices, etc- you go back for the nostalgia. Nice screened in porch with outdoor little games to keep smaller people occupied for a few minutes. Reasonably priced. Last visit was on a Tuesday evening 5pm no wait. Summer night so warm the ice cream melted before hitting your spoon. Reasonable selection of flavors.

They make their own ice cream! Each day! It was so creamy and wonderful I ate two black raspberry sundaes. Always wanted to stop at this cool place. It didn't disappoint. Fast service .. polite staff...great food. I have to try the upside banana split....I saw someone order it....they also have a ice cream bus they take to events. Check out their Facebook page and do t miss this one.

We were at the store in Bedford county on route 56 the other day and purchased three different flavors of flurries and when we got them home we noticed that they had the names scratched out on all three flavors of all three cups and we're relabeled and when we begin to eat them we noticed that we had the wrong flavors between us. That's when I noticed that they not only relabeled them wrong once but then they was wrong a second time so we had to switch around to give each other the flavor they had ordered and then I began to eat mine and noticed there was styrofoam through the ice cream then I noticed that I had a cup inside of a cup and noticed that the inner cup had been chewed up I am assuming by the mixer, now this is totally uncalled for they knew they chewed the cup up there for inserting a second cup over top of the first one, they should have just threw the thing away and made me a new one but no they went ahead and sent it out with pieces of Styrofoam all through the ice cream and I did find at least five pieces of Styrofoam in my ice cream this was totally uncalled for and a very...

The igloo is just no.1 for anything ice cream you can think of. They have special flavors that are awesome, I had PB ice cream and it was the best. They have peppermint, raspberry, gingerbread and so many others, you have just got to try them. Stop in I know it's cold out but go ahead and stop anyhow. They have added car shows also and it will take you back to memory lane. Everybody loves going back and this is what The Igloo does. Love...
