Right off interstate goldmine! The Twilight diner is one of those rare finds. We stopped for lunch. We are on our way back from Maine and found this little diner that is eccentric and wonderful. Our service was top notch. The diner has a wide variety of food to select from and desserts. There is a bar seating and Booth seating and outside seating. This diner does serve alcoholic beverages. My husband and I stopped for lunch and I do not eat much so he ordered the cheesesteak because that's what we both wanted and we shared it. This diner allows you to share a plate which is wonderful. The steak was delicious and you need to have it Cosmo's way which is where they toasted and put cheese on top. Bun was crisp and soft on the inside. The cheesesteak combo was phenomenal. It tasted so good and it was hot. I had a piece of cherry pie to go when I ate it later that evening. It was phenomenal. It's a great homemade pie. Locals there so you know it's good! The prices are great. Don't miss out on this goldmine.

What cute little diner! I saw the logo and name and knew I had to visit! The food was pretty good! The broccoli and cheese bites appetizers were surprisingly melty and delicious. I also got the haddock dinner with stewed tomatoes, Mac and cheese, and buttered bread. The Mac and cheese was great with the stewed tomatoes. (A slice of lemon to squeeze over the fish would elevate it further; I don't mean that as an insult to the flavor- because it was quite delicious on its own.)The bread was a hearty Italian bread and the butter nice and soft. My husband's peanut butter and pickle burger was also an interesting and unique flavor. Service was wonderful! Our waitress kept up with our drinks- something I appreciate. The merch is worth mentioning- different moonshine flavors, diner tee-shirts, and mugs.

Clean place, friendly wait staff. I'm not sure why it's called the Twilight Diner, but it has an interesting interior setup. No particular theme or notable decor. We ordered the Breakfast burger and the Mushroom Swiss burger that each arrived with a bag of chips and 3 slices of sweet pickle. I would much rather have had more of the pickle and less of the bland chip brand. The burgers were the best part of the meal; juicy and cooked to requested temp. Compared to other diners I've frequented, this one is on the higher end of pricing with a burger and fries combo at nearly $20 and a slightly smaller burger. Overall, everything was prepared very well and a decent stop amidst a long drive East. Plenty of parking. I'd recommend a visit here if you're traveling through the area.

We were crossing PA on our way home, and looking for a diner near midpoint. We’ve passed the Twilight Diner on every trip, but hadn’t stopped. Now the question that remains is why not?

It was dinner time, and we were looking for something not fried. Our choice was the Homemade Turkey Dinner. At home, you’d be lucky to get half of what was presented. The Turkey was a mix of white and dark meat, the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. The stuffing is made from their homemade bread and seasoned. We did sub the corn for cole slaw, which reminded me of my grandmother’s creamed cabbage. It was perfect.

Our server, Nicki (hope I spelled her name right), was very personable and helpful with helping us navigate our order… and with recommendations for dessert (you can’t or shouldn’t set foot in a central PA restaurant and not consider dessert; that’s just uncivilized).

We selected 3 choices to take on the road. Apple Crumb Pie (our duty as Americans 🇺🇸), Lemon Bishop and Milk Pie. We were encouraged (and we obliged) to try our selections before leaving. They are all amazing.

Looking forward to our next visit when...

Had the best dinner while traveling through the area. Both of us got the bbq bacon cheeseburger with fries, one with slaw, one with macaroni salad. Absolutely delicious. The 6 oz. burger was lean and tasty, and filling - so definitely of good quality. Bacon was crisp and plenty of it. Bun was a gorgeous white roll, substantial but balances well with the burger. It handles all the meat & cheese, plus mayonnaise, onion, tomato, lettuce. The bbq sauce, I could not detect as a store brand. Also delicious. Macaroni salad was homemade and perfect. Perfect balance of all the ingredients. We were stuffed on those platters alone. Someone off in the distance ordered "the last piece of cheesecake". Maybe next time! Waitress was great! Food also was served hot - steam was actually still coming off my burger after I bit it, and the fries were hot & fresh. Well worth it. Was our ONLY meal between Connecticut and Ohio, and it filled us rightfully! Well done to the proprietors and...
