Mrs.Belt's Cafe — Restaurant in Greeneville

Not great experience today. This was literally my first outing after surgery at vumc Monday. When my husband gave them a chance to fix it, the typically nice man at the counter was all excuses. We waited 15 min to get our drinks. It was busy, but two other tables were waited on before us that came after us. My husband had to flag down the waitress. Every table around us that sat after us were served their food first as well. My 7 year old was literally crying. Little things like well done hashbrowns were also missed, but we were hungry so just didn't even worry about it. I just gave mine...

Went back for breakfast...MUCH better service this time, food was very good, we'll be back again! Great breakfast prices too!

The food was good, but our drinks were left empty and we never figured out who was supposed to be waiting on us. The cashier actually got our dessert order and brought it to us, we were never asked by a waitress if our orders were ok, or if we wanted dessert or more drinks. Not the best of first impressions. But we'll try one more time...

Called in my order from work and when I got there to pick it up, they didn't have any to go orders, so my order never was given to the cooks to fix. So I had to wait on them to fix my order. And of course nobody admitted to taking the call even though I had the proof showing the time and phone number. Then I go to eat my food and thank God I seen it before I ate because there was some kind of bug in my hash browns. Will not be going back...
