Right in the heart of Lackawanna County, you can't find anymore perfect of a place to explore the wild terrains of Pennsylvania. Mountains to the north, sunflower fields and wineries to the west and cities to the south; there's so much to see and do. And the perfect resting-hub is Orazzi's Inn. Situated right in the woods, animal lovers will be excited to know that you can see deer, hawks and other wildlife right from your inn.The inn is simple and cozy and the pillows are so soft and comfortable. There's plenty of blankets, towels and space to lay down your belongings, and even a little TV, but we were too busy exploring to be using the room. There's a wide variety of food and drinks at the restaurant. From pizza and pierogis to beers and "Green tea shots", the Orazzi's will not have you leave hungry (or thirsty!) I wasn’t expecting much from a little, old motel in the middle of nowhere; just a relatively clean place to spend the night in order to get to Elk Mountain early in the morning. My friends and I had some food and drinks at the bar after arriving late in the evening. We started to come to appreciate the quaint atmosphere. On the surface, the room looked as clean as any other motel. I slept very well at this motel and was very pleased with the accommodations overall. Nice to have the convenience of the tavern next to the rooms. Plenty of options for outdoor activities like fishing, mountain biking, hiking, or skiing nearby. I plan to stay there again when my travels take me...
