I normally go to the Subway off Highway 66 in Kernersville (which has excellent service) but I decided to go to the Sandy Ridge location today because it is closer to my job. That was a terrible mistake!
As for the young lady who took my order, I wouldn't say she was rude...she just did not have a pleasant demeanor. When preparing my sub, I had to practically beg her for toppings. For example, when I asked her for extra pickles, she literally sprinkled a few on...when I asked her for more, she sprinkled a few more on. I smiled and asked for more. She said "I've already given you triple the amount of pickles allowed." Okay...
When it was time for me to pay for the "sub" (and I use the term loosely), she tells me it is $6.94, which is a dollar than I pay everywhere else. When I said something about it, she said "Each Subway charges different menu prices. If you look at the sign, you can see that that sub is $6.94." Everything in me wanted to walk away but, not wanting to rude, I paid for my order and left.
When I get back to work, I pull the sandwich out of the bag and it is flat. A sub should not be flat. Needless to say, I will not be going back to the Subway located at 3205 Sandy Ridge Road...ever. I'll drive another six minutes up the road to the Subway at the corner of Highway 66...
Read moreI had the same horrible experience at this location as many others. Personally I prefer the Subway over by 68 and I40, they have a drive thru as well and are awesome, but like some others, this location on Sandy Ridge is more convenient for me for work. Every time I try to use the drive thru, I just sit there waiting for service which never comes. A couple times I've driven around and knocked on the window after waiting and waiting. This last time I just drove around to the front and walked in after waiting out there for someone to take my order.
I walk in and the woman has her earbuds in, is sprinkling cheese on bread loaves and there's not a single customer in the place. She was just ignoring the drive thru. I order a wrap for breakfast and ask for a coffee, she rings me up and then tells me that they don't sell coffee and I have to get it next door. By next door, she means the gas station convenience store. So now the whole process has taken about three times longer than it should've and I'm stuck with garbage gas station coffee to boot.
Do yourself a favor and don't ever go here. They are awful and Subway really should shut them down or replace them with an owner and manager who cares about running a...
Read moreWent in place is clean. DO NOT GO HERE! I DO NOT APPRICIATE HAVING TO HEAR 102 JAMZ PLAYED WHILE IM TRYING TO EAT. HEARING HOW SO AND SO SCREWED THIS HOE AND SO FORTH. THERE SHOULD BE A SET STATION PLAYED. I saw prices and they are higher then at home (30 min away) I asked did prices change and it must have pressed a button then she started. Slapped paper on board slapped stuff on husbands sub then she said "And what do you want" rude! I replied " a salad" she blew like it was a pain rolled her eyes and didn't let me pick between chopped or not she just threw the stuff whole in a bowl. Why do I want a whole bite of only green pepper?! She asked asked if we wanted drinks or chips. We already had a drink out and at counter so DUH if she could stop rolling her eyes she might could see it. The she complained to her co worker as i went for a refil because I didn't scoot her chair in nice and neat. I WILL...
