Read moreThis ordinary-looking street front place will surprise you with its outstanding food and ambience. It reminded me of great restaurant experiences in Montgomery: Jubilee Seafood (now closed), El Rey, and Tomatino's, all in Cloverdale. It turns out that there is a connection: Allan Bloodworth cooked at all three places! My grouper was thick and cooked to perfection. It was very fresh. Read moreWe came in from out of town, halfway across the country, this place had good reviews so we thought we would try it. We ordered the 16 ounce ribeyes both medium. I ordered a margarita. The server taking the order for a margarita seemed irritated and a bit rude because I asked for a skinny margarita and she said she didn’t have one and that was fine, but she started talking about something else and I asked her what that was and it didn’t have anything to do with the margarita it was some kind of beer but I didn’t want that I just said OK then a regular margarita place. When she brought my margarita it was straight margarita mix with nothing else in it it was terrible I sent it back through a different server not her and didn’t say a word about it. My husband steak was cooked perfectly mine was well done. When she brought the ticket the margarita price was still on it even though it was never drank. I would not recommend this restaurant...
