Gino's Hamburgers & Catfish — Restaurant in Greenville

Gino’s is the one restaurant I have to go to whenever I’m visiting my hometown. They have provided consistent food since before I can remember. The catfish sandwich is amazing. It comes with one piece of fish, but if you ask for a large, you’ll get two. It’s not on the menu though. The coleslaw on it is the best and I always add cheese for additional flavor. Gino’s is also known for its burgers, which are great with chili and coleslaw added. The drive-through can be slow if there are several cars. However, that’s fine because I always get hot, fresh food. On my last visit, I asked if they had lemonade. The lady said yes and I ordered it. When she passed me the drink, I asked why it was pinkish. She told me it was pink lemonade. That would have been nice to know before I ordered it. There was also something floating in it, so that’s the reason for the 4 star review. Next time, I’ll just drink something...

Ginos is in need of new employees that know a thing or two about customer service. The first time my food was thrown together and not right, as they waited to bring it to me after they got ready to close was one thing. Tonight, went all over me. I called at 855 and told them I was walking out of Dollar General ( in the same parking lot) and wanted to know could I put my order in. She said they couldn't take call ins after 8. I understood so i said I'd be right there. Got in driveway and sat for a minute and pulled up. They said they were closed. I expressed to them they just got off the phone with me. Their response was they dont take call ins. I said I know, I told you I was headed right here and you said ok. They literally had already cleaned and knew they were closed. She said by her clock it was already 9. No decency to tell me on the phone they had already shut...

Hands down best burgers in Greenville. I moved away 23 years ago and the food taste the same. Still delicious ! Although I’ve traveled to a few States ate a few burgers and fish in my opinion nobody beats Dino’s. Keep it simple.I miss the hospitality here in Mississippi 😊Big City girl now. However I always come back to my favorite places to eat. That fish sandwich is soooo goood. The Burger makes you wanna slap ya momma. You better not🤣4 years ago my mom suffered a stroke which left her paralyzed not able to speak as she did before this was our favorite Dine in Restaurant and still is our favorite spot. Sit down order our food eat and laugh. Gino’s makes moments like this great. Every moment of happiness counts.
