I placed an order for a simple cake for my daughter's confirmation. Vanilla cake, vanilla icing, oreo filling and decorated simply, all white except blue writing. I went to pick up the cake and it was not all white. There were blue roses, green holly, blue piping around the borders. I told the gentleman that this was not done correctly. He looked at the order and agreed. The owner was at a hair appointment at the time and he asked if he should call her. I said no. I didn't have time to get a new cake nor was I planning on being in the area later. As I drove home it dawned on me that I paid $50 for an 8" simple cake that wasn't done correctly. I called the bakery when I got home to see if they could redo the cake. They did not have any vanilla cakes available to redo the cake. I asked for him to have the owner call me. She never called. The cookies were soft, the cake of the cupcakes were fluffy, and the icing itself on both cookies and cupcakes were soft and delicious, with the perfect amount of sweetness in my opinion!
