The Garden Grille — Restaurant in Greenwood

i been going to garden grill for years an a cheeseburger plate special wasnt but 6.00 not that long ago, i paid 8.75 without the tea. wow, i questioned the girl about over charging me an she said they charge 3.5% on visa an debit cards, asked when you start doing that, they said 8 years ago. i been paying about dollar more for my food all these years on to go orders. i dont like paying extra for my food cause its already high enough. ill be bring cash from now own. the food was excellent. they got wendys beat on fresh burgers. food is hot most time. i have got cold fries but not too often. there brother at cheeseburger house 96 hwy is not as good as the garden grill on south main. garden grill slaw an burgers is excellent. last 2 burgers i got there was better than the rest i got there over the years. they making the burgers a little thicker, which i like more. the meat not hidden in the center of the bun anymore. i hope they keep that cook, he makes better burgers than in past. they make excellent baked potatoes too with homemade ranch sour cream they ripped off from the...

Review update: I had another great meal at the garden grille, that was 5-star! Perfect sandwich and sides. Really delicious. Could not ask for better food, BUT I have take away 2-stars. :( i really really hate, but i noticed a difference in the price that I saw on the case register and what was on my receipt. ??? So I asked. I was told and shown a tent card that was beside the register, that said that they use a credit card service called PayLo that automatically adds 3.95% to the charge. It shows on the receipt as "Non-cash adj" I hate businesses that add charges to credit card/atm cards users because it cost them. So does the electricity and water, but they dont add a surcharge for that. I frequent many restaurants and businesses and most absorb the price and include it in the price shown. It's as bad as charging for ranch dressing, but not for ketchup. Great resturant, great food and service, but boo! hiss! for nickle & diming customers. :( -2 stars....

Homecooked food and everything we had was delicious. Even my beloved but "uniquely customized palatte'd" daughter said the flounder she had was delicious...and it was fried and she likes no fried meat...that says a lot in my book... Not only was the food delicious, the service and value was just as amazing. We got some of the best food I've had in forever for less than $8 a person. That $8 included a meat, 2 veggies, bread, dessert, and drink. Not only that, but the portions were extremely generous and we all left with to go plates because there was no way we were throwing them away. We will be back every time we are in the area because there is a lot more on that menu I want to try. Oh, I didn't mention the desserts..the dessert of the day was so good, I had to call back once we got home to find out the name so I could try to Google how to replicate it. (FYI: she called it "vanillo"- tasted like some of the best ever banana pudding minus the bananas).. Just trust me and see for yourself. You...
