Uptown Saloon — Restaurant in Greenwood

I gave the place 1 star only because Google will not allow me to give a ZERO star rating. My wife and I stopped in Greenwood to get some candies at Baker's chocolates. On our way out of town, we saw the bar and stopped in to get a drink. There were maybe 6 or 7 patrons there, not busy by any stretch of the imagination. My wife and I sat at the bar and after about a minute the women at the bar stopped by and said she would be back shortly, no problem. Unfortunately, she NEVER came back. We sat there for 3 or 4 minutes watching her talk to friends the whole time. She was 10 feet away talking to what I assume were her friends and couldn't take a minute out of her BUSY schedule to serve us. Needless to say, we left and will...

Heard good things about this place so we decided to try it on our way through town. What a disappointment. They were busy and the help wanted sign on the door coming into the place should have been our first clue....but by the looks of things most everyone had already been served. We ordered our meals and appetizers and waited...and waited...our server told us more than once that he put our ticket in. We even ordered more drinks. People who came in after we did got their food...still nothing for our table...After waiting for over an hour he brought out one of the appetizers that was so freaking cold it was uneditable. So we cancelled our food and paid for our drinks and left.......

Was excited to give this place a try heard good things sadly the service was terrible we ordered our food and an hour later we still didn't have it others that came in after us got theirs humm I questioned our waiter and he said I put them in as I get them well I guess he forgot to put it in ...we paid $15 for our beer and went to Waverly fingers crossed we get to eat here ....same owners I...
