OIP — Restaurant in Gregg Township

Called our order in last night to eat in the restaurant they said it would be 15 to 20 minutes, we got there and waited 20 more minutes. When we did finally get our food the order was messed up and there was no cheese on my cheese steak salad plus it was cold. When I asked the girl she was totally confused and had no idea what I was talking about but said she would take it back to the kitchen and see what they had to say. They took a huge handful of mozzarella shredded cheese and dumped it on top and brought it back out to me. The cheese wasn't melted at all and the meat was still cold. I said I'm sorry but I really don't want this and she took it away. I ended up eating some of my friends stromboli. He said it doesn't seem like the same as we had last time, there's not much meat or cheese in it. No one ever came back to check on us and after 10 plus minutes I finally walked up to the register got my own takeout container and ask about getting our bill. I spoke with the gentleman at the register and said we called our order and so we wouldn't have to wait and still had to wait 20 minutes, got our food and it was messed up, no one bothered to come back or refill our drinks and check on us, I had to get my own to-go container and now here I stand asking for the bill. He basically told me it was all my fault and that he would take the salad off of the bill. We started going there a few months ago and really enjoyed everything about it but I don't think I'll go back again. We were one of two tables there and I saw that the other table was having the same problem. They were at the register ahead of me. They wanted the french fries taken off of their bill because they never received them and they asked why they got a dessert when they didn't order one and we're being charged for it. The same gentleman said to them well did you eat it then you have to pay for it. The customer said I didn't ask for it I'm not paying for it and again the man said well then you shouldn't have eaten it. They left...

Writing this review on multiple bad experiences. Placed an order once for pizza in the midst of moving with 2 smaller children. Quick, easy, good meal, right? WRONG. Was maybe, maybe 5 minutes late to pick up my order and the owner comes out and says your late so we are eating your pizza already. He says he will remake it, okay great thanks. Do I get a discount since you ate the first one? Nope. Nothing. Placed and order to pick up. Was told fries came with the subs so I didn't order extra fries. Awesome. Got the subs and fries. A few days later place another order under the impression that subs come with fries, go to pick up the order-no fries. Get told that's not how things are done and fries need to be ordered and paid for separately. Whatever. Again, stupidly, place another order another time and nearly the entire order was off one way or another. Call in and explain what all is wrong and that I didn't get 2 large bags of chips that were paid for and get told that I can come get a whole new sub and that the chips are self serve and they dont bag them up for people. Okay, fine. Go to get the sub and again the owner comes out and says that when someone's order is missing something they don't make it new they just add whatever is missing. Not in a nice or polite manner either. Not to mention staff gets seen often smoking in the kitchen. Now let's go on what friends and family have said. New waitresses have been offended by inappropriate behavior from fellow staff and staff is extremely rude as well. Little to no training is provided for new staff and the food really isn't good for the price you pay. Definitely do not recommend, if you had asked me 10-15 years ago I would have said...

When we got there, we were not waited on for a while. The current waitress kept walking past us and did nothing. When I went to the counter to ask for menus the lady working behind the counter asked the waitress if she helped us and I spoke up and said no and stated I was just about to ask you for menus because we have been sitting here awhile. The lady behind the counter apologized and stated she probably didn’t see us when we all knew the waitress did. The lady from the counter then took our order immediately and continued to serve us. She was great! The food took forever to come out but I can say my Stromboli tasted amazingly good! My friend got fries and they came out cold. He sent them back and they came out no different. He also ordered prime rib not knowing it was a sub because it didn’t state it was one on the menu so he was shocked when he received his order. He didn’t like it as well. So moral of story, be prepared to wait over a hour for your food, Stromboli is a win, and the one waitress...
