High on the Hog BBQ — Restaurant in Grenada

I love the food but the employees take the phone off the hook wayyyyyy before closing time. And the last 4 times I’ve called, no one will answer the phone. I just called for the 5th time tonight and finally a lady answers the phone and says to me instantly… “MAAM WE ARE CLOSED”!!!!!!!! I said I thought y’all didn’t close until 8:30 and she says, “NO MAAM WE CLOSE AT 8:00!” CLEARLY THE WEBSITE SAYS 8:15 pm. It’s just BAD BAD BUSINESS WHEN A BUSINESS DOESNT STAND BY THE WORKING HOURS AND UTS FRUSTRATING IN A TOWN WHERE WE VERY LITTLE OPTIONS ON PLACES TO EAT/TAKE OUT. If a place is open until 8:15 pm. Then customers should be serviced until 8:15 pm. No matter what!!!!!!! Tommy, the owner, is a SUPER NICE MAN. SO THIS REVIEW IS NOTHING AGAINST HIM BC I BET HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW THIS IS GOING ON AT HIS PLACE OF BUSINESS BC HES ALWAYS ALLLLLWAYS BEEN MORE THAN NICE AND PLEASING TO ME. The ribs, how come I can see the Seasoning, but can't taste. The meat falls off the bone. But not a lick of Smoke, Charcoal, Pellets Nothing. I think the ribs were boiled, then baked with the seasoning on top. The fries tasted Stale. Potato Salad, why use dill relish but add Sugar🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. The ribs were not properly trimmed, fat on the back of the ribs, and the membrane was not pulled off. The bread was something untoasted, but I liked it. Looks are deceiving! Very nice people and BBQ better than anything I had on Memphis that's supposedly so good! They ate super busy, buy food comes fast, beautiful and plentiful helpings. The BBQ pork plate is a bargain! Ask for slaw on your sandwich, to die for and not greasy. I pinned this on my map to be sure I can find it again even if I have to go out of my way. I'm doing a BBQ joint book, and this is definitely at the top 5 just for the people..the food is just a bonus. Do not let the outside fool you..I live in Fort Worth area..and love this place despite all...
