When they first opened I LOVED this place, but the past few times I have been I have been highly disappointed even to sometimes not wanting to eat my food. The salsa taste like tomato juice out of a can with big chunks of cilantro in it. I got rice one time and there was so many carrots in it the whole dish tasted like nothing but carrots. The chicken has been rubbery, every time I get a steak quesadilla, it is like there is noting but fatty hard pieces of steak. It has good flavor but I didn't ask for a steak FAT quesadilla, I asked for a steak quesadilla. If you get a ACP or ACC they don't put nearly as much cheese on the dish as there should be. I didn't even taste cheese on it the last time I got one. But I got it to go and I was not about to drive all the way there. Im a chef and I try not to write bad reviews on local restaurants because I know the struggle it can be to own one, but for the menu to be as pricey as it is (with some items) is not good. I NEVER get ground beef when I go, it taste like blood and that is all the flavor it has. I am willing to keep trying this place (mostly because it is right down the road). However there comes a point where I am just going to give up on them. The kitchen staff is very friendly, there is one waitress that comes off with an attitude...if you don't want to work and be nice to your customers then your not cut out for this industry. The health grade is 90 . I mean thats ok but it could be better for sure. I have ate in the restaurant and have been the only customer in there at the time for at least 45 minutes to an hour and the tables all around me were dirty and were still dirty with dishes and drinks and salsa on the table when I left. Keep in mind they were NOT busy and they the waitress and waiter were just sitting around on their phones. To be the only Mexican cuisine restaurant in the area I expected better. I have recommend this place to people when they first opened talking about how it was some of the best Mexican food I have had, and now I honestly tell people I have no comment on the place and to just try it...

WORST MEXICAN FOOD EVER! I hate to give bad reviews, but I'm sorry to say this one will not be good. It's like they give you the old stuff they need to throw away!! Wilted brown lettuce, mushy soured tomatoes, grey guacamole, soggy stale tortillas, shrimp cooked to rubber, and the salsa is just crushed tomatoes with chopped onions. I like to support local businesses, so I tried it multiple times over several months. Just as bad every single time. These are the same owners that have the location in AYDEN, NC. It's EQUALLY BAD!! I understand this is a family run business and not some super professional shop, but every time I call in it seems you have someone that has extremely poor training. I normally order about 15 dollars or more worth of food for lunch and have it delivered, delivery times can range from 15 mins to a hour and half and I am okay with that. However being told we no longer do lunch delivery's then being told oh wait actually we do it if its 25 dollars are more is nuts. I understand not wanting to take 5 dollar delivery orders your not making money that way but 25 dollars is a little steep most places have a 10 dollar minimum ill just order somewhere else...
