I was headed to the truck stop for some food, and saw this place out of the corner of my eye... I ignored it, and pulled in at the truck stop. Then I was like, whatever, geaux check this place out. I'm SO SO glad that I did! I got the two meat plate with ribs and chicken. I got rice dressing and BBQ beans for sides. Let me start off by saying... I think this might be some of the best bbq Louisiana has to offer!! Look how easily I could've ignored my curious eye, and wouldn't have gotten the chance to try this hidden little gem!! The prices and service are good as well. I'm trying the seafood next time!! A+

It's a small place without outdoor seating only but the people are very friendly and take care of their customers very well. All the drinks there are sold for $1.00 The meals range from lowest cost (kids plates) $4.99 to the family platter at $39.99 I'll attach a picture of the menu with my photos. As for what we ate there it's was delicious. The brisket Tacos were wonderful, the meat was tender and flavorful and tortilla was not dry but slightly crispy and flaky. The chicken salad was awesome! The burger and fries were delicious but not as good as the BBQ platter. Go try it for yourself!

The meats were tasty, but some was a little too pink for me. Beans were excellent, and coleslaw was ok. Bread pudding tasted pretty good. The staff was polite and helpful. There is outside seating. Prices were decent for bbq place. The country music was blaring, I could do without. Oh, and they deliver to the Tiger truck stop. Check the pics for the number. Overall, it's a nice place to get dinner.

I had stopped in at the Tiger truck stop and walked here.. let me tell you that it's definitely worth the walk.. (they do delivery to the truckstop too) this place is the best cajun place I've ever eaten at other than my buddy's house. The Bayou boil was perfect. The only problem with it was that it wasn't enough. And I'm not saying that it didn't fill me up or that it was small portions because the plate weighed about 1 to 3 pounds of seafood. I can honestly say that I was fuller than a stuffed turkey on Thanksgiving. I just didn't wanna stop eating after I took the first bite. Honestly, if they offered a buffet, then I still wouldn't have enough of the bayou boil. Most definitely will come back here soon.

Thank yall for the experience and taking the time to cook up some of the bayou boil for me that late.. it was perfect in every way. It was......

I’m so glad I stopped to get food here. The service was incredible. I didn’t even have to wait 5 minutes to get some great food. Everybody was nice, respectful & had cool vibes. The food was really fresh and really high quality. I just stopped while on the road. I was starving and looking for a fast food drive thru spot. I’m so glad I found this place. Just this one meal made me never want to eat fast food again. The food was amazing and really fresh, the portion sizes were colossal, and the speed was quick. Its location was cool too, a quaint and peaceful spot on the water. Thanks to the people there for putting time into making great, high quality meals. I recommend...

Not much to look at, a recycled sea land type container, but good food. Appreciate that the pulled pork is served dry and those who need sauce can get it. Yes, the meat is pink, because it's smoked, not because it isn't done. Parking lot is tiny, so we had to drive past, turn around, then drive past again to a shoulder wide enough to park our motorhome. Worth the extra drive to get good pulled pork and potato salad. Best of all, those who are veterans or over 65 pay $2 less than the menu price. Oh, and a pulled pork burger does not have a hamburger as part of it. It's just that the meat is served on a...
