Bamboo House — Restaurant in Groton

If i could i would give 0 stars. When i got there i was asked the name on the ordered so i said the name so they gave me a bag that was all ready...i looked at the receipt on the bag as she went to run my card and i tried to stop her and she continued and charged my card anyways i explained that it wasnt my order but she still charged me for someone elses order. She didnt want to refund me but she finally did. She then told me i never called i made sure i had the write place should her on my phone she said yes but i never ordered she told me i called the wrong number. I called the number that was listed on google that used to place the order and i called it right infront of her their phone rang when i did so and still insisted we didnt call and order from them. Very very disappointed this is the only Chinese restaurant that sells the coconut chicken that i like. Very very very disappointed once i left i called that number asked where i placed an order and i was give the address to restaurant i was just at and was told i didnt place an order and i could tell it was...

Shrimp fried rice and their half fried chicken is so good! Also, their shrimp lomein is good too. Updated 7/22/22 the fried dumplings and their sauce for the dumplings is sooooooo good!!! My hubby gets the beef with broccoli, extra spicy! He never, ever likes anyone's beef w/broccoli extra spicy, except for this place, Bamboo house!!! It's like an ahhhhhhh for me! Finally he can say that the food is good!!! We've tried many Chinese restaurants mostly because of me! I've been on a Chinese food kick now for about 2 years!!! He never likes nor gets what he pays for! I always feel bad! I even stopped asking for Chinese food because of his, every time disappointment! I will drive there just so I can make sure our order is right! Thank you Bamboo house for listening to me and my order! You are truly the best! Oh and their own duck sauce is pretty good too! This is my family's goto spot for Chinese. I love noodles and general TSOs. Wife likes pork fried rice and sweet sour chicken. We've tried many places in Groton and this one ranks #1 in our eyes for taste.

I had the exact opposite response from some other reviews. I ordered chow mein or lo mein from other places, and I received what looked like a white soup with vegetables, looked like i needed to use a spoon for.. Bamboo House provides noodles with a sauce over then and whatever meat you asked for. I could twirl it with a fork, it's what I wanted.

I don't know much else about the menu, I've tried the fried dumplings. I'm use to getting like an oyster sauce with them but most places around here send them with soy sauce.
