My wife and I come to Dolce Amar every day they’re open. We have tried most of the food items they offer at least once and have not even had something that is just alright. Everything is scratch made in house with fresh and high quality ingredients. Some of our favorites are the quiche which has rotating flavors, croissant egg sandwiches, muffins, macarons, and cupcakes. On Saturdays, they have doughnuts and English muffin egg sandwiches with fresh vegetables and cheese which sell fast and are just to die for! We have ordered cakes and cupcakes for various occasions and they are extremely accommodating and help us decide on the best flavor combination. The sweets are always beautifully presented and they will not put something in the case unless it meets their high standards.

All of the beverages are amazing. I always start the day with some kind of latte and my wife loves their matcha. Their espresso and coffee is the absolute best around and is imported from Italy. We have both had many many many cups of coffee in our days, so believe me when I say it is always perfect. On the days they’re closed we are lost trying to find comparable coffee in the area. We have had many of their teas as well which have all been delicious. Once we ordered a tea pot to enjoy in house and we received it beautifully presented on a tray with honey, sugar, tea cups, and milk. Highly recommend!

The staff are all incredible, sweet and want to ensure every customer has a perfect experience. If something isn’t right, they will do everything they can to fix it. The owner Raffaella is extremely kind and is passionate about her work. She often talks to her regular customers and makes us feel like family!

We love to sit in the bakery especially if we’re working or reading because it’s such a nice place to spend time. It’s bright, clean, and the music is always great! The style of music changes based on whose playlist is on and we love to see what’s going to be on every day.

In terms of price, it’s very on par with the quality. If you want coffee and breakfast for cheap with questionable ingredients and quality, go to Dunkin’ donuts. If you want something you know you’ll enjoy, definitely give...

Let me first start out by saying that Raffaella is simply a…maaaazing! Now that that's out of the way, let me tell you about her delectable treats; equally undisputedly spectacular! "Why?" you might ask? Well first of all, Raffaella is an artist and she is truly passionate about her craft. That said, this passion is on full display when one bears witness to her approach... We began consulting with Raffaella several months before our wedding date to make sure that she was the right fit for us. After having met with numerous wedding vendors, we were delightfully surprised to come across someone who was genuinely passionate, kind, and willing to provide honest feedback even when the feedback could result in savings for us. Raffaella spent countless hours prepping for our big day taking notes on our taste preferences, wedding theme/decor, listening earnestly to our annoying wish-lists and concerns, and making thoughtful and considerate suggestions when appropriate - ultimately resulting in a masterpiece of a cake which perfectly melded my lovely wife's wish list (clean, light, fluffy, and elegant) with mine (moist, sweet, not too fancy-shmancy and most importantly "chubby-hubby-hummy"!)... That said, Raffaella nailed it 100% - so much so that my wife and I only got a bite of our cake before it was entirely devoured by our guests - WHO DOES THAT?!?! I could go on and on about how wonderful Raffaella is and how beautiful and tasty her baked goods are but I think you get the point... If you still need more convincing, here are some pics of the cake she prepared for our wedding day and a not so subtle endorsement from one of my wedding guests......

Raffaella of Dolce Amar Sweets to Love, must have been heaven-sent.

My family and I had recently moved to Townsend, MA right around the time my mother-in-law celebrated her 52nd birthday and my mom, her 60th. With that said, I gave Google and Yelp a go to see what my options were for customizable celebratory cakes in the area. I already had a vision in my head as to what I wanted on a 6-inch cake -- I just needed somebody to execute it perfectly. Raffaella did just that, plus more.

I wanted something rustic, with fruits or flowers. Since both moms like succulents and different types of berries, I decided that those two should be the underlying theme. Being clueless as to which flavor to pick and considering my mother-in-law to be vegan, Raffaella pointed me towards the right direction -- I trusted her flavor profile. With a sprinkle of fairy dust, she was able to whip up this gorgeous vegan naked cake!

With a sprinkle of fairy dust, she was able to whip up this gorgeous vegan naked cake! <3 She substituted almond flour for regular flour, and used vanilla and lemon extract for both the base and the icing. She enveloped three separate cake layers with vanilla and blueberry filling, and topped the entire cake with a selection of blueberries, blackberries, and cranberries in addition to the colorful succulents made out of most probably vegan sugar paste. The whole family enjoyed taking photos of it; and as expected, the cake didn't last 24 hours -- it was so moist and delicious. <3 We will not hesitate ordering from her in the near future. Thank you, Raffaella!

Raffaella and the whole team at Dolce Amar are extremely talented. We ordered our wedding cake from Dolce Amar and were so thrilled with how it (and the accompanying macarons and apple cider donuts) turned out. The process was so easy and fun - Rafaella brought us in for a tasting with a gorgeous tray of cakes and types of icing and fillings. She was very patient with all of our questions and did some gorgeous work creating "flowers" on the middle tier of the cake. (photo credit to Sarah Surette Photography). We have also gone to Dolce Amar for several other goodies - cupcakes, cookies, and delicious drinks. I love the London Fog Latte with Lavender! If you love baked goods, Dolce Amar is a can't miss. Follow them on Instagram to see daily availabilities, but then you might have to unfollow them (like I did) because all you think about is Dolce Amar baked goods. :-)
