TequilaTown Mexican Cuisine & Bar, Grove City — Restaurant in Grove City

We were really looking forward to trying this new restaurant. It wasn't very busy when we arrived. We were greeted promptly and brought to a table. Our server took our order and brought our drinks. The music was very loud and it was hard to converse. About 5 minutes later another couple arrived. Their order was taken about 8 minutes after ours was. We ordered a chimichanga and a burrito. After about 20 minutes, the other couple got their order. About 5 minutes later, we got our order. The server put the food down in front of us and walked away quickly. The food was seasoned appropriately and looked appetizing but it was lukewarm at best. Our server didn't stop back at our table the entire time we were there. (I didn't catch her name, but she was short, thin and had long dark, wavy hair.) We had hoped to get a water refill and extra napkin. We were going to order dessert, but no one came back to our table. It wasn't even really possible to flag anyone down (without getting up and walking into the next room where the bar is) because we were seated in a smaller dining room, not the main area. Eventually we got up and walked to the bar to ask for our check. The server was standing behind the bar talking to a co worker. She didn't ask how our meal was. She just gave us the check and that was it. I'm guessing our food was lukewarm because it wasn't brought out in the order it was prepared. This place is definitely worth the forty minute drive from my city, for Amazingly Delicious Mexican food…🤤🤌🏼The place gives you a modern Mexican Vibes. The Margaritas hit the spot for the heat wave we’re having.🥵The Tacos 🌮 are definitely a repeat for next visit, the Carne Asada plate looked yummy and for the seafood lovers the deep fried fish 🐟 was presentable. Definitely is the spot for any type of celebration 🥳 The cost was reasonable for the amount of food you receive, definitely will not stay hungry.
