WORST SERVICE HANDS DOWN. Service was so bad I wish I could give ZERO stars. The place seem to be run by inexperienced kids with poor attitude and service so bad I can't even think of a decent way to describe it. I called in a simple order for two pieces of baklava - something I know takes a long time to make so there's no way it's made to order. It should've been prepared (wouldn't be surprised if it's even frozen/store-bought). I was passed around to at least two different people on the phone to take my order. It was simple. I called and asked if they had any baklava. The first person didn't seem to understand what I was talking about. I was put on hold and passed into someone else. I asked the same question and was put on hold again. Finally someone took my order and confirmed my name. I arrived there about 10 minutes later. No one was at the front or cashier area to assist. I saw people sitting on the bench to the right by what looked like their kitchen/back of house area. I stood at the front for a couple of minutes like an idiot the ln proceeded to the bar area to try to get someone's attention so I could be assisted. As I walked towards the bar, an employee came from behind the bar and told me I needed to pay at the front. Well yeah, ok, where the hell was the person who was supposed to be at the front? I walked back and there was a young boy there. He was apparently sick and coughing all over the place and sniffing to prevent his mucus from coming out. He took my payment and said my order would be out. I waited. I walked around the store. I read the signs. I waited some more. I just kept waiting. After more than 5 minutes, I walked back to the cashier and inquired how much long it would take. There were at least 4 employees at the front but they were screwing around and no one was helpful. The cashier finally asked a young girl to check. The girl asked what the order was and when I said baklava, she actually asked what that was. I was furious because it seemed like they forgot my order and even though I paid, no one bothered to actually go check on the status until I was already wait for a while. It was a piss poor experience and a waste of time. The wait was SO LONG that my wife even got down from the car to look for me because she thought something was wrong. The service was bad enough that I wouldn't care to ever return. On top of it all, I encounter A LOT of military and visitors coming to Guam and have ALWAYS recommended they experience Jeff's and try out their baklava. I will certainly be singing a different tune after that experience. I will NEVER EVER recommend Jeff's again. Hope the management or even Jeff himself reads this and cleans the place up. Some of the kids didn't even look old enough to be working there. If they weren't, they shouldn't have been behind the counters or screwing around with the employees. Such a...

We arrived to a nearly empty Jeff’s Pirate Cove around 5:30 on a Friday night. We were seated right away but it took 10 or so minutes for our waitress to notice us and ask for our drink order. We ordered a ginger ale, tea, water and fried pickles. The waitress finished listening to our order and turned to walk away. After walking only a couple of steps she turned back around and reasked what we wanted. She brought back the water and tea right away but took another 10 minutes to come take our dinner order. I reminded her then that I hadn’t gotten the ginger ale. We ordered 2 meals, a fried chicken sandwich and a bbq bacon cheeseburger. After taking the order she again walked a couple steps toward the kitchen and turned back around then reasked what we wanted because she had already forgotten. A minute later she comes back to ask if I wanted the chicken fried or grilled. I had to tell her for the third time how I wanted it. The meals come out and there was cheese paper on the burger and the fried chicken was severely overcooked. We flag our waitress down, she’s comes over and takes the plate. She said “oh sorry” when we show her. After taking it to the kitchen she walks back to us with THE SAME BURGER and tries to hand it to us but asks if we would want that one or a new one. We told her we wanted a new one. After we both finish our meal we wait almost 20 minutes before she comes over and says “oops I should have told you that you can just go to the front to get your check and pay”. WHAT! You let us sit there for 20 minutes seeing we were done. She had even commented previously on how tired our baby seemed but didn’t care to get us out of there in a timely manner. Not once did I see her go to another table. We seemed to be her only table. I usually like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt when I receive poor service but I can say that the service I received tonight seemed to be a mix of staff not caring about good customer service and expensive but low quality food. On top of it they add a service charge to your check. That should have been posted on the menu or on an easily...

Restaurants like this are a gimmick. I went to Jeff's with high expectations but they totally missed the mark. When I first showed up around 1pm, I noticed there was no hostess. After waiting for 10 minutes a young lady said, "I will be right back". But it took another 10 minutes to finally come back to seat me (At this point I should have left the restaurant). I sat there to be waited on another 10 minutes, a bar waitress finally asked me for my order. I ordered a ice tea and the fish special. After waiting 30 minutes the waitress came back and said they were out of fish, and she said she would be back to take my order. 15 minutes later she finally shows up. I order the easiest and fastest thing on the menu, a gyro with rice. After I ordered, I noticed that all the waitresses were still giving out the fish special menu... I thought, if you know you are out of fish, why would you continue to give out the fish special menu? Anyway, after waiting for 1 hour and 10 minutes I finally asked if it normally takes this long for food? The gentleman behind the bar with a beard said they had a group of 25 and the kitchen was back up. If a restaurant can't handle a group of 25, the restaurant is poorly managed. Also, if a restaurant can't get food out on time, unusually means they are not in compliance on the food codes. I finally got my food after waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes (for a gyro, which is a 5 minute sandwich). So long story short, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. Because the food is over priced, it's dirty, and the food takes 2.5 hours. Furthermore, none of the staff really cared that it was grossly late. Restaurants like this...

# A Swashbuckling First Visit to Jeff’s Pirates Cove My first trip to Jeff’s Pirates Cove in Ipan Talofofo, Guam, was an absolute delight, and it’s easy to see why this beachfront gem is a must-visit! From the moment I arrived, the laid-back pirate-themed vibe and stunning ocean views set the stage for a memorable experience. The open-air seating was perfect, with a refreshing sea breeze cooling us as we took in the breathtaking scenery. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and even handed out red Jeff’s Pirates Cove bandannas, instantly making us feel like part of the crew. Our server was friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations, which made navigating the diverse menu a breeze. I opted for Jeff’s Famous 1/2 lb Burger, touted as Guam’s best, and it did not disappoint! The patty was juicy, perfectly cooked, and paired with crispy potato wedge fries that were a standout. My friend tried the fish tacos, raving about the fresh, flaky sea bass and zesty flavors. The portions were generous, and the food came out hot and fresh. We also enjoyed a couple of ice-cold beers from their impressive selection, including a local Guam IPA brew that hit all the right notes. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with a mix of locals and tourists enjoying the beachfront setting. The gift shop was stocked with cool souvenirs, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a pirate-themed t-shirt. Jeff’s Pirates Cove is more than just a restaurant, it’s a destination that captures the spirit of Guam. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this pirate paradise
