We are visiting PR and extended family recommended this place. They were so exited to take us here. We were a party of 7. As we walk in, we asked for a table inside and they didn't have anything available but the hostess offered to let us know when a table became available. Instead of having employees set up a table for us outside we had to move tables ourselves for us to fit. The music outdoors was outrageously loud, we could barely hear the server. The hostess never told us about an empty table inside but we saw one available so we asked about it and were told we could take it, so we moved ourselves. Food was coming one plate at a time at around 10 minute intervals. I ordered a piña colada and half of it was already melted upon arrival. I also, ordered coconut shrimps (im pretty sure they were bad because I ended up feeling sick for about 6 hours and then throwing up in the middle of the night which made me feel a bit better). My mother in law never received her food and they were still trying to charge us for food we never got. I do not recommend this place to anyone. If you would like sushi you are better off driving 1h north and going to the metro area. I still cant believe we paid the amount we paid for me to feel like death and my mother-in-law to starve. This was such and unpleasant experience… I cannot recommend this place. Not even to my...
Read moreWow! Otoro Sushi Bar in Guayama is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving exceptional sushi and more. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the service top-notch.
Now, let's talk about the food – it was simply outstanding. The Suteki Roll, their Puerto Rican sushi version, was a revelation! It perfectly blended local flavors with traditional sushi artistry, creating a unique and incredibly delicious experience. I can't recommend it enough for those looking for something truly special.
We also tried the Nuki Roll, a brilliant take on traditional sushi but made with steak, and it was equally impressive. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, harmonizing beautifully with the other ingredients. And for something beyond sushi, their Fried Rice with steak was a hearty and incredibly satisfying dish – packed with flavor and perfectly cooked.
Otoro Sushi Bar clearly takes pride in its fresh ingredients and masterful preparation. Every dish felt crafted with care and passion. If you're in Guayama and looking for a memorable dining experience, do yourself a favor and visit Otoro. You won't be...

I ordered the spicy crab sushi it was good tbh not spicy but good I do wish they treat their customers better especially when they saying their new they should explain nicely and specifically what they r ordering Cuz the person I was with...
