Rustic restaurant with wood outdoors tables not to far to the end of the Martinez Nadal. Their main dish are alcapurrias, a 10 inches fry dough filled with a variety of stuff. I tried corned beef and amarillo and was excellent. Not healthy at all but delicious. Also they got beers (need to expand the selection) and cocktails (mostly mojitos). They are not prepared to serve a large volume of people. Unfortunately since they open at noon there are already a lot of people. Best case scenario, expect a waiting time between 45 to 60 minutes for an alcapurria. For the waiting time, is not recommended to go alone, go with friends or family to chat and drink while wait. Most likely you will not get parking in front of the premises, but behind there is a good parking lot although it fills up quickly. Be careful, the menu doesn’t include the prices. My alcapurria and mojito cost $9 each.

Like other people have mentioned the place is nice, some of the food is good but the service is shockingly bad (and checking reviews it's been like this for a long time). We took some family to eat who had taken a cruise and were stopping in OSJ. It was a rainy day to be fair, but after no one came to table after 30 minutes we went to the bar to check - they said someone would be with us soon. After another 30 minutes again we went to the bar and again we were told someone would be with us soon. After another 30 minutes and no one visiting our table we ended up placing the order at the bar and got the food within 15 minutes. The sampler was okay but everything is super deep fried, alcapurrias were nice and the yuca mofongo was good. I doubt we'll ever return due to the service and wouldn't recommend it unless the service significantly improves.

We researched the best alcapurrias in Puerto Rico and this place popped up. So we decided to give it a shot. For the atmosphere: Let’s say, very limited parking. They are located on a corner close to a bridge on one side and a sharp turn on the other. Plenty of seating although the table umbrellas look like they have never been cleaned. The server is very nice and good memory with taking your order w/o writing it down. We got the small sampler, the wings were cooked perfectly. The chicharrones were a little overcooked, but edible. The tostones were good. I’d never had an Alcapurria w/ arroz con gandules and lechón but it’s pretty good. My family overall liked the food.

My experience was quite a deception. I work relatively close to this place and my co-workers and I saw a Tiktok about this place which referred to the alcapurrias as the best thing they’ve ever tried. For this reason we were motivated to try this place and placed out an order over the phone by the time they open at 12pm. As we were told, our order was going to take around 45 minutes to which we had no problem to do so because meanwhile we could order some drinks. Waiting time escalated from a 20min wait since we got there to 2 hours since our order was placed. On top of that the service was horrible, employees were rude and couldn’t tell us precisely if our order was going to take much longer. I left with my order incomplete because we all had to get back to work but regardless I think it is absurd and inappropriate to make people wait 2 hours for an alcapurria and be treated the way they treat clients because we were definitely not the only ones disappointed there. And after all, the alcapurrias weren’t even that good. Not worth it at all. We do not recommend this place. And above it all there was no parking assigned and we were blocked by an employee which took us about...

Place is ok, be ready to see people arriving and ordering after you and getting the food first. We order 3 mojitos not alcohol at all it was more juice with sugar. The fried cheese was ok as well nothing compared with the Facebook advertising same thing with the alcapurrias. I had a really bad experience due to the place has like 5 cats full of noticeable fleece that’s gross, a cat approach walking over the wood fence and he was like right next to me, when my husband told me a jump due to the flees on his eyes that was so disgusting since we were eating. I made eye contact with some of the employees that were standing in front of me and they just laughed at each other. That was so rude. I won’t come back to this place full of cat with noticeable flees and employee laughing at that. I don’t recommend this place also the menu doesn’t have a prices. If you want a good alcapurria bigger than they’re for just $5 go to Cataño they are really good flavored and also have different selection of sauce. And for you management is really bad to have those type of cat going around table by table when people are eating...

Edwin, the brother of the owner and somewhat the one in charge has NO customer service at all what so ever. Very rude and don't care about customers on site. We waited for over 1hr and 30min before anyone came to us for service. Be ready to be skipped, meaning there is no sense of who got here first and people that get here after you will order first. We were seated in an area, then Edwin came over and said he didn't care who was seated in the area, because he had 45 friends coming over and customers needed to move NOW!!! He treated the waiters like they were not people and blamed them in front of customers. Food is not all that great. It took another 1hr and 45min for food to come out of the kitchen and another 30min to get the check. There is no system in place to operate an effective establishment. If you are ready to wait for a long time and have nothing to do, then this is your place. This review is towards Edwin, management of the establishment, learn some manners on how to treat employees...
