Frosty Front — Restaurant in Guin

This was once one of my favorite places to eat. Even though it was almost impossible to get an order in over the phone and the wait time being 15 min longer than I was told, I continued to eat here because of the convenience of it being on my way home from work. But after the past 2 days, I no longer will. Yesterday I called in a jumbo bacon CB and a regular CB w/ xtra cheese. “About 15 min” was what I was told. I got my order after almost a half hour. When I get it home, there was no cheese on either burger and no bacon on the BCB. I called and the lady was friendly and said they would give me a credit. So I call today to place an order and was told to “hold for 1 second”. So I did. And I waited and waited and waited. At this point, I just wanted to see how long it would be before they finally picked up. When I walked into the restaurant to speak to the owner 45 MINUTES LATER, I was still on hold with the call active. So not only did they not come back to me, but they also didn’t notice that their phone didn’t ring for 45 minutes between 1-2 PM. I got my refund from the day before and I won’t be back....

I won't dine here again. My husband and I ordered 2 small drinks (thank God they're refillable), 1 cheeseburger, 1 hamburger and 2 fries. With tax it was $22.89.

It took about 15 minutes to get our food. Not bad I suppose. The counter is only a few feet from our table. The woman announced my order number and just kinda looked at us. Then she walked over to the counter and just laid the tray there. Weird.

She was only a few feet away, she couldn't just put it on our table.? No napkins, no utensils. We had to get up and get it ourselves. We were the only ones dining inside, so it wasn't crazy busy. Not that I'm lazy, but c' mon.

The food was mediocre. Hey I know times are tough, inflation is through the roof, but the little things cost you NO money.

When we left, no thank you for your business, please come back, nothing. They were too busy talking amongst themselves. I'll pass on this place...

Wow. It’s been about seven years since the last time I’ve been there. When I walked in I noticed it was brighter Cleaner updated organized and the staff was friendlier and they all had smiles on their faces. I heard about the new owners and you can tell from the moment you enter the parking lot but they love their job love their customers and love their food. I had the hamburger steak with gravy and onions and the potato wedges. It was great and flavorful and the portion was perfect. Of course I had to steal a bite of the cheeseburger that my wife got and as good as looked on the Outside it was just as good when I took the first bite. I also stole a bike from my kids chicken fingers and you can tell from the outside and the breading thought it was gonna be one of the best fingers ever. Don’t forget to try the butter pecan ice cream before you leave. Keep up the good work and excited...
