Grille 22 — Restaurant in Guin

We checked into the hotel about 7:15 and were told the restaurant was open until 8. We took our belongings to our room then came back down to get dinner. We sat down about 7:30 since the sign said to seat ourselves. After waiting ten minutes, with the only service we received being a quick eye contact with a staff member, someone finally came to our table. We were told that they were too backed up and weren't able to take anymore orders. We've ate here several times before, so we know the food is good, but since we were unable to order anything this time, I gave one star. I had a really bad experience, I try to get dinner here. So I sat on the bar since I was alone. Sadly I lost my ID that they i could not get a drink that night. (Funny that even my beard my wrinkles and gray hair does not show I was older enough to drink) but it was so bad that I could not get dinner on the bar so I feel very embarrassed to get move to a big table that was a couple feet away from the bar. My beverage & meal orders were taken and served very timely!

I ordered the Blackened Chicken Alfredo pasta,and normally I am hesitant to order Alfredo meals because I find them too runny & little meat or bland flavor.

No exaggeration, this meal (although served with penne pasta) was the best I have ever had! The Alfredo was not to creamy or runny or excessive in volume. The Chicken was exceptionally tender and nicely Blackened! The tomatoes had a nice robust flavor as did the garlic!
