Waffle House — Restaurant in Gulfport

Wow this was really bad my cooks were all creepy! They kept laughing and joking about peoples orders while they were cooking them and one of the cooks looked homeless? Also my waitresses was doing her best I guess to make the best of things but she was not in uniform with her shirt so I don't even know her name. Then when I walked in they had dirty tables on the bar down the whole thing but no one was sitting at the bar other than me getting my to go order. Finally one of the cooks removed a dirty glass in front of me not my waitress Sadly! Also they seem to have given me a double hashbrown but I told them only a single but charged me for a single? My waitress told me not to worry she only charged me for a single? It seems the cooks were to busy entertaining themselves amongst each other to get my order right? So sad I love waffle house ! Then when I walked outside to get in my car the homeless looking one followed me outside in plain sight for a cigarette that he smoked right in plain sight with a different employee sitting on a crate looking at his phone and smoking as well !!! Our order was wrong. I ordered 2 ALL STAR breakfast plates. We asked for over easy eggs, and hashbrowns with onions and mushrooms. When i called the restaurant, i was told that even though i said ober easy, the waitress that took my order assumed i wanted over medium because most people don't like over easy eggs, and that my information would be written down and i could get those items the next time i ordered. I called tonight to order, and the manager basically laughed at me and told me thats been a month ago and we don't keep track of that. He said that i should have had them replaced immediately if i wanted them replaced. And then handed the phone back to someone else to take my order. I didn't continue with my order because that manager clearly doesn't care about...

My experience was AMAZING! Not all waffle houses are waffle homes. This Waffle House was absolutely phenomenal in service, cleanliness, and speed, efficiency, and accuracy. I came in with four other close friends and we felt like we had a place to be ourselves while enjoying quality food. The sweet tea made in the morning shift was made without sugar, but out amazing server Desmond made NEW tea for us!! Every order was made perfect, first time. Our cook, Kia, made our meals for us with perfect temperatures AND presentation (especially for a Waffle House). He’s as I type cleaning his grill to absolute PERFECTION!! I cannot dote on this Waffle House- waffle HOME- anymore. Come and see it...
