The River Bar at Garlic Mike's — Restaurant in Gunnison

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Garlic Mike’s River bar! The setting by the river was beautiful, and we had great views throughout our meal. The oysters were incredible, so fresh and flavorful! To top it off, I actually found a pearl in one of them!

We also got to take advantage of their happy hour, which had great deals on wine and PBR. When our dog, Aspen (our adventurous Blue Heeler), came with us, the staff went above and beyond, they even took a Polaroid photo of her and hung it up on their wall, which was such a fun and personal touch.

Lucas, our server, was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and really made the whole experience even better.

Overall, this was a perfect evening. Great food, great drinks, a beautiful atmosphere, and a staff that truly cares. 10/10...

Grateful for The River Bar! In 2024, Gunnison Valley Entertainmnet had the opportunity to close down The River Bar with their closing party and it was a BLAST! Then I had the chance to provide a Bat Mitzvah ceremony and then AGAIN they called me back to rent a speaker from me.
